I've been communicating with Yelp, since they had a guarantee for this vendor. Yelp reviewed all of the info including texts and emails and will be issuing the refund to me. Very thankful to Yelp for their help in what has been an extremely difficult situation.

As for any final concerns that I had, those were handled and resolved in a way that's best described as an "old school" way of doing business. We felt comfortable hiring Stu after meeting with him a few times, and we weren't wrong!! Our deck is gorgeous and I was blown away by how quickly it was completed! Stu and his entire team are friendly and attentive and they truly care about their clients. The house had already vinyl floors in the living but not the stairs so we should find similar color/texture. We went to the store and they had a lot of choices and we chose the one we believe we had to put. The time frame was approximately a month and the installer arrived exactly the date we agreed. He finished the job, he did good job. However, a small accident happened with the glue his partner used, he left some marks on the floor where it was impossible to remove using products like GooGone. I had to call him and he replaced those with the marks. So, I have to say that now I am ok with the result.
