A number of years ago, I needed to roll over my 401-K and was looking for a good financial adviser. I had started with one who was excellent but he retired and the one who took over his accounts was essentially worthless. Asked my accountant for recommendations and she told me ethically she could not recommend one but would give me a list of names. One was the Raymond James Office which is part of Williamson Financial Management in Huntersville. We were introduced to Ed Burns who became out Account Manager. Yes he is getting used to the allusions to 77 Sunset Strip by this time. We were very pleased with the performance of the IRA he recommended and he has worked to optimize our yield. Had some additional funds we wanted to invest and we discussed this with him today and he came up with a very good one with affords a good yield based on history and liquidity in case some situation came up where we needed access to the funds.\ Closed the transactions today and are very happy. read more
