TCE is located near Macy's. If you park near H&M and go through the mall entrance, it's not too far. The website says they're near NY & Co. which is incorrect. Look for the kiosk near Icing and Journey's. Omar was the employee who helped me on both visits. He was very professional and nice. He explained the exchange rate, fees, and policies. The exchange rates are displayed on a digital screen. The exchange fee is $4. If you bring foreign currency back with the receipt, they will waive the exchange fee. If you're using a debit card, there's an extra fee of $1 though I didn't see this on my receipt. They will take paper money (they prefer denominations of 10s and 20s), but they do not take coins. According to the website, they have over 80 currencies, they'll mail money if ordered on the app, they match rates with banks, and they'll waive fees for certain professions with proper ID.

She fulfilled my request for Denmark and Iceland but did not have sufficient Swedish currency to give me any more than $30. I understand that Sweden wants to become a cash free country, but some cash is necessary to tip in the service industry!

Can you imagine a small business with no way to make payroll! Called the branch, no answer, they no longer accept calls! Couldn't imagine doing business with a company that you can never reach. Called the main number to see what was going on, they didn't even know the branches were down. They have no idea what is going on. Not to mention, we do daily business deposits, same contractors every week, and they still attempt to place checks on hold due to "New Check", I have to get snappy each time, tell them, its the same company from the week before, and the week before that, and the month before that. Has to get manager approval, and then the hold is always removed. The fact that I have to hassle each week is insane! Closing this account as soon as I can get a new one open.

I was told they where going to take it off and reimburse me and they never did and I called from a year from now to find out they never took it off and they made me pay for it I never had to use the extended warranty since I do my own maintenance. A new client of mine who just moved into Houston gave me a retainer check today for a new project I'm going to do for them. And because it was a new account, low number, a checks and for some reason my bank could not authenticate the signature on the check via Bank of America. So they were going to have to put a hold on it until it cleared. I asked if there was anything I could do about the time lag and she looked at the check and she goes. There's a Bank of America just across the street. You just go cash it over there... So off I went check in hand... As I walk in the Bank of America branch no one was in there, two girls working the teller area and a guy at the entry door opening it for all who came and went. I got up to the teller and asked her that I would like to cash this check, she said sure no problem... Then I was asked if I had an account, I replied if I had an account. I just deposited it and not need the cash... She goes! Oh that makes sense... But since you don't have an account here, we're going to have to charge you to cash it... Just after I heard that out of the teller I was dealing with, a gentleman walked up to the teller next to me and all he wanted to do was deposit cash into an account that was not his... His teller looked at him and said you have an account here? He said no ma'am I don't... To which she replied. If you don't have an account here, we can't accept cash as a deposit. You have to bring it in as a check... Kind of interesting that that would happen the exact time that I was in there today... Just goes to show me they don't have good customer service at the Bank of America and I'll bet they charge way too many fees and fines... Why everyone doesn't go to Capital One? I'll never understand they have no fees and finds!!!! So as a result of all this... When I talked to my client and told him what had happened at the bank... He responded that he was having issues with them already as well and was already looking for a new banking institution. He was not surprised! So it looks like this branch may lose several more business.... Nobody should have to pay for banking!!!
