Then my first wait started..... I fell asleep in the lobby. Ok only 35-40 min out there. Now I'm back in the room waiting for the "DOCTOR" (we'll get to this in a minute) where I was able to watch not one, not two but three YouTube episodes of my online classes which are 35 minutes each. So I ask how long it's going to be.... To be told not too long, but let me get you in the back to get x-rays. I get the x-rays come back to the room and I'm waiting and another 10 minutes goes by and I decide I've had enough. It's been over two hours that I've sat here waiting so I go out where two nurses? Sitting staring at the pc screens and I again ask what the hold up is and tell them I've waited over 2 hours only to be told .... It's just the two of us the doctor isn't here!!!!! I WALKED OUT!! DONT GO TO THIS PLACE FOR NOTHING NOT EVEN A SPLINTER!!!

Took multiple MRI orders to get accurate foot which was when I was on the MRI table. 7/7/25 results of MRI came back & top of foot images blocked but, they failed to re order it! In addition, I had an appt with Dr Britt on 7/7 he refused to see me and did a no show although, contacted adjuster with bogus report. When adjuster knew no show changed rate to 7/14 whereas, I had a meeting with office manager to file complaint. She let me know neither on 7/7 or 7/14 any letters in file so meant verbally lied to adjuster. I was kicked out on 7/14 by Dr Britt although, never evaluated. I was sent to another WC doctor but, 2 months later Dr Britt and adjuster pretend I was seen and meds approved. Bogus! Not my doctor, not seen nor ever prescribed anything in Sept. so who got the meds? Why approve a bogus visit but, deny my actual current doctor I had in Sept PT denied? Ridiculous how WC system works! Dr Britt the worst doctor ever!!

I have been with her both on surgery day and at several of her appointments. So first things first, it's easy to give a five star review when all of her surgeries went well. There were a few snags here and there with the hospital, but once Dr. Tutorino and his staff were involved everything was resolved swiftly. What I found most impressive about Dr. Tutorino and his staff is the evidence that they truly care about the patients. The first example of this is that after my mom had her first knee surgery, she and I gave Dr. Tutorino feedback on the low amount of pain medication she was given after leaving the hospital. It wasn't really enough to relieve her pain as prescribed and so we had to ask for a refill only a few days after leaving the hospital. Dr. Tutorino said that he would work with the physician at the hospital and sure enough, for my mom's next surgery she was prescribed a higher amount that was just right to manage her pain. Another time my mom and I were at Dr. Tutorino's office and they were running behind with the schedule. We had been waiting for over 30 minutes and the office was packed. Collette, the office manager, came around to everyone with a basket of snacks for everyone to enjoy while they were waiting. The office of Orthopaedics of Florida offers full hip, knee and shoulder replacements, as well as care for athletic injuries. They are aligned with Florida Hospital and all of my mom's surgeries took place there. After each surgery Dr. Tutorino came out personally to update me on my mom's status. He also came to her bed every day in the hospital to check on her. There was also a RN coordinator, Diane, working directly for Dr. Tutorino, who interfaces with the hospital staff and was integral in overseeing my mom's comfort and care while recovering. If you are having surgery I would recommend that you save her contact information and reach out to her immediately if you are having any issues. After leaving the hospital if you need help after hours there is an answering service and Dr. Tutorino returned our call personally. It's evident that Dr. Tutorino is constantly evaluating and improving his post surgical care guidelines. From one knee surgery to the next my mom's pain management was updated to a newer method, and her physical therapy was modified. I believe both were improvements and lead to an even faster recovery on the second knee. Overall I would give Dr. Tutorino and his staff my highest recommendation.

My consultation/evaluation with Doctor Placer was pleasant and informative. He payed deliberate attention to my concerns and asked pertinent questions. Using a diagram he explained the cause of my pain and suggested a course of treatment to address the pain. I am a health care professional so I had some challenging questions for Dr Placer and he answered each one with clarity. I was impressed by the Doctor and have confidence in him. The check out process and follow up appointment scheduling was easy and the front desk person was thorough and made sure I understood what I would need to do/avoid prior to my appointment.

After attempting to do the Dr. Scholls home treatments and after my wife giving me enough grief, I decided to go see a specialist. So I log in to my insurance provider to check for a doctor in my network. Once I found Dr. Tootle I decided to call my insurance company to confirm he was indeed in-network and to ask how much my treatment should cost. My insurance company told me I would only need to pay my copay. So with that information, I procced to call and make an appointment. It took a couple of days and about four phone calls to make an appointment. I would follow the prompts and it would ring, then when someone answered I informed them I wanted to make an appointment. On numerous occasions, I sat on hold for 5 minutes. I decided I was going to make one final attempt, but this time when I called and was told to hold I said no. Informed them I was going to be a new patient that if they wanted a new patient to please make me an appointment and not continue to put me on hold. So needless to say an appointment was made. Whoever I was talking to was very nice, she answered my questions and advised me to go online and complete the new patient paperwork. Appointment day arrives. I gave myself plenty of time or so I thought. Parking is a major problem here, now I completely understand this is not their problem, yet it is simply because this is a medical complex that has a hospital and other institutions here, but they should alert new patients on the phone about the parking. After parking on the top floor of the garage and nearly in the last spot available, I walked in at exactly the time of my appointment. They collect my paperwork and asked for my payment. When she told me the amount it seemed off and higher than expected. I paid it anyway and waited for my turn to be seen by Dr. Tootle. The gentleman who can in before the doctor was very nice and helped to ease my mind. I had informed him I had a wart about ten years ago and it was removed and that the process was painful and I can remember it like it was yesterday. He told me not to worry and that Dr. Tootle would take excellent care of me. He was right!!! Dr. Tootle came in, introduced himself to me. He then got right to it to see what was going on. He treated me and told me exactly what to expect and what I needed to do. He gave me my paperwork and informed me to check out, out front. WHen I haded over the paperwork I was told it would be an additional seventy something dollars. I told her this didn't make any sense and that I had already called my insurance company to go over the costs. She said they must have done something wrong when quoting me. So I paid the extra money and was on my way. I called my insurance company and was told I was charged too much. The insurance company called the office and took care of it. The office must have immediately voided the charges as they never hit my statement. When I went in for my follow up I paid the correct copay of that visit and the copay for the follow-up. Long story short...when they want to put you on hold say no and just make sure they are billing you correctly. The staff is friendly, they just might need more help or something. Again, Dr. Tootle is awesome. I will go here again, should the need arise.
