Extremely dissatisfied with my experience here. This was for an accident that occurred in 2018, but after my latest experience with a great attorney, I felt I had to warn people about this one. I came to open a collision case after a co-worker referred me (turned out I went into the wrong law office, big mistake) and was "helped" by a legal assistant named Hopton. He was nice and seemed very knowledgeable. After he filed all the collision information for me, he said he would send the letter to the other driver's insurance (Mercury) the next day and everything would be taken care of. After I left, I was confident that he really would be able to take care of it and this weight was off my shoulders. A week later, I got a call from Mercury and he said that their insurer finally admitted fault and that he could get started helping me take care of the collision repairs. I notified him that I got an attorney already and he said that he never received a letter from any attorney. So I called Hopton after I got off the phone and he said that they forgot to send the letter.. I couldn't believe it. If Mercury had not called me, who knows how long it would've been that I hadn't known - I would've thought they were taking care of everything for me. This was when I became very worried and started checking up on Hopton regularly to make sure he was doing his job. He was horrible at replying to my texts. Literally, it would take him DAYS to reply to me OR he wouldn't reply AT ALL. I asked him the morning after I found out about the letter not being sent to make sure he sent the letter out and he did not reply. I messaged him again in the afternoon BEGGING him to clue me in on what the hell was going on. He finally replied, telling me he was in a meeting and to call the office. I did that and the line was busy the three times I tried to call. He then called me later that day to tell me that he had not gotten a hold of Mercury yet and that he left a message. A day later, I asked him if he was able to get in contact with them and he said that Mercury had not called back yet and that he would follow up with me LATER that day to give me information on collision shops I could go to for estimates and that he would also follow up with me the next day if Mercury did or did not call back. Again, I did not get any follow up. Not later that day, not the next day, not even the day after that. Three days after he did not contact me, I AGAIN texted him first, asking him if he was able to reach Tyler. No surprise, he did not reply at all until 5PM the next day, letting me know that he got a letter on the 25th. But by the time he told me, it was already the 30th.. I ended up having to call Mercury multiple times to see what the status of the case was. Hopton advised me not to talk to Mercury myself and to refer Mercury to them if they ever tried to contact me, but what if my OWN attorney won't keep in contact with me? I ended up sending Hopton a message weeks later expressing how I felt like my case was being handled poorly and he responded with this text that shocked me. "Please don't text me anymore since you don't appreciate it. If you need any update or have questions on your case, contact our office number." Word for word and I still have the texts to prove it. So that's just what I did. I ended up calling the office and asking to withdraw my case from them (it's free to withdraw) so that I could take it elsewhere. A few hours later, I get a call from Raymond himself, telling me that it would only take a few more weeks before the case was finished. He was actually very respectful towards me and showed interest and empathy in my situation. He ended up talking me back into staying with them. If he hadn't given me an exact date of when the case would be settled, I probably still would've withdrawn, but because it was supposed to be finished in only a few weeks, I figured I'd continue with him. Sure enough, the case was settled soon after. After everything was finally over and I received my check in the mail, I emailed Raymond to sincerely thank him for helping me and never got a response. Though the case was finally settled, I was still left with a bad taste in my mouth about the events that perspired before then. No one should ever have to worry this much when they get an attorney - that's the purpose of getting one. If I had felt like they were doing their job and that they actually cared about settling my case, then I would not have been checking up on them so much. I felt like if I didn't, then nothing was going to get done. This is one of the easiest cases any attorney could take, since the other driver admitted fault, yet they did not want to get what they could get done, done. I should've withdrawn earlier and taken my case somewhere else so that I could save myself from all the anxiety. So that a hard working, deserving establishment could've taken 33% of the settlement money instead. read more

I'd rate this place -5 stars if I could. I hate this place more than the person who rear ended me. This office shouldn't even exist bc of how despicable, rude, and pathetic they are. This place is trash, the people are trash. After 2 years, they decided to tell me they won't fight for my case? For two years, I could've found a lawyer that'll actually do something for my case. This office is just hungry for your money. The lack of communication from them was ridiculous. As an attorney who should be helping me, why is that I had to call the office for updates and information about my case ¿?? Like are you actually an attorney or are you my client ¿?? I came here asking for a update on my case a few weeks after my first visit and they had no idea where my papers and case information was. Unorganized and unreliable. Played such a big part in wasting my time Even after my car accident, they recommended an auto shop that did such a horrible fucking job on my car, I was better off driving my car with my bumper hanging than when they tried to fix it. They somehow managed to fucked up the side of my car that wasn't even hit. They half assed my car just like these bitches half assed my case P.s. the place was called A-1 auto body and repair in El Monte. Don't go there unless you want a shitty repair job My sister came here after a car accident bc someone recommended it. They even took a huge percentage of the money my sister received for representing her case EVEN THO she automatically won bc she got hit by a drunk driver. They only wanted to represent her bc they know good money was guaranteed from it. Save your time and find a better lawyer somewhere else. Coming here after an accident or anything will just frustrate you and cause you more stress than you already have. This was the office I came to when I got into a car collision in 2020. Everyone I encountered at this office was pleasant and really made sure I was well taken care of. Before this, I had never been to a law office and wasn't sure what to expect. However, Hopton and Kayla were really knowledgable and reassuring during the process. During the accident, I didn't get insurance information from the party who hit me, but all of it was taken care of by the associates at this office. I came here after a car accident where someone rear ended me into another car, they got me the medical treatment I needed by telling me to go to a specific therapist. Ayre my treatment was done and I didn't feel like I needed to go anymore, I got my reimbursement for my child's car seat. Total loss check was sent to me. They towed my car away.
