So, I was just gonna make the drive there and pick up the medication instead of having it resent to Alex. While I was still talking, the lady transferred me to the pharmacist and he said No, i can't pick it up because he will not be filling my son's medication here. He said it is because his schedule 2 numbers will increase and that it will make him look bad if he does it and he apologized to me for it. I can understand if the situation was shady or questionable but it was completely legitimate. He could have helped me when I asked him for help but he made the choice not to and I just think it was wrong. I do not recommend this place because I prefer a place were people are treated good and fairly.

However, CVS pharmacies are always severely understaffed, putting immense amounts of pressure and stress onto these wonderful souls. I don't have a problem with this specific pharmacy (it's actually the first one I've been to where I've had absolutely zero issues) but I DO have a problem with the way CVS has set it up. I just wish they could employ more workers. There are always long lines to wait in, no seating for the elderly, chaos for the workers, etc. Makes me sad because I can see how tired these beautiful ladies are. They do, however, do their best, and I commend them for that!

There is nothing special about Wal-Mart anymore. I can buy my meat at the local grocery store, buy personal needs, kids toys, kitchen accessories and gadgets, tennis shoes, clothes, underwear, candles, cards, jewelry, meds, home decor, bday party decor, flowers, etc on Amazon prime for a fraction of the price that Wal-Mart has these items, and I won't have to settle with Amazon Prime bc the item isn't in stock.

They told me that because he is a new customer, they need to start a profile for him and that I needed to be done in person. I asked her once we start the profile how long would it take to be filled she specifically said that it probably won't be until tomorrow (not knowing that I was already on my way there). So, I arrived not long after and told the lady at the counter that I needed to start a profile for my dad. Apparently the one I spoke with on the phone was the same one at the counter, her expression says it all, she really wasn't expecting me to be there that quickly. So, she "started the profile", had the nerve to ask me if I needed it today. Well, apparently so. So she told me that I will get 2 texts, one to confirm the profile, the other to let me know that the prescription is ready. And that it would take 30 minutes, so I said I'd wait. I went to wait in my car. 10 minutes passed, not one text. I thought maybe they didn't misunderstood me and got the wrong phone number for the text so I called again and let them know that I never got a text they reconfirm the phone number and again said I would receive 2 text and again nothing. I told them that I am here I'm still waiting. They said ok and that I will "get a text". By this time my dad was still weak and needed to rest. So I asked my sister to drive over and wait on the medication for me so I can drive our dad home. She did and when we figured it had been enough time she went in to pick it up. She got to the counter and they said that it won't be ready til tomorrow. My sister told them what I said. That the lady told me that it would be ready in 30-45 minutes. The people told her that because I wasn't there that they put the prescription back up, claiming that if I had waited then they would have the prescription ready. Total damn lie. When I confirmed and reconfirmed again and again that I was there and I was waiting. They had the nerve to blame ME? Unbelievable. And come to find out they were closing. So...apparently the prescription was never even put in the system to be processed today. They just didn't want another task because to tie them over because they were about to close. Now keep in mind at this point this whole process had been over an hour. They were so focused on getting off work than doing their jobs. And my dad needed that prescription tonight. Apparently getting off work is more important than a person's life. If you value your's and your loved one's well-being DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE.

Then after getting home empty handed, received a text saying my medicine was ready. Okay. So my husband picks it up today. They refused to put it on our insurance, saying I wasn't in their system, therefore I wasn't on his insurance. The line behind him was all the way back through the store, he didn't want to hold it up so he (well meaning but not a good move) went ahead and paid full price. That store cannot hold onto employees. Not for a second. And now it is losing customers by the handful. I'm moving all my scripts elsewhere ASAP. Rude on top of it, by the way.

Having to wait in line for over a hour is annoying, but understandable. What is not acceptable is being told your prescription would be ready within a hour and you go wait in line for over a hour to be told it was tied up in insurance and you need to come back in a few hours. The same insurance info that was offered over the phone. Pure incompetence. I'll never use this pharmacy again.

I waited in the store for 30 minutes and the line never moved....so I decided to try the drive…read morethrough.....I waited 2 hours in line to pick up a Rx my husband dropped off the day before. When I reached the window I was told I would have to wait another 15 minutes for Rx to be filled. I explained that it was dropped off the day before. They told me I couldn't hold up the line so I had to go to the back of the line and wait another hour to get Rx. When I got Rx they filled the wrong medication for my husband. He was supposed to get an albuterol inhaler and they filled nebulizer tx instead. But the instructions on the Rx was for an inhaler. You would think a pharmacist would know the difference. 3 and 1/2 hour wait for the wrong Rx. Do not go to Walgreens on 28east
