I've had two other roofers look at the work and they both agree that the shingles were not installed properly and that shingles should never have been installed on a flat roof. I wanted a metal roof but their salesman said it would be very expensive and that his contact wasn't getting back to him for prices, etc. I needed the work to be done before I left to help my elderly father for a couple of months. When I returned, the rain leaked through my roof and damaged the ceiling plus all my bedding down to my brand new mattress. He takes zero responsibility and is asking that I pay him when we haven't come to any agreement on the issue! I feel like he's trying to intimidate me since I'm a single older woman. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. But his business ethics are totally sketchy. Do not use this company for anything!

He advised me every step of the way for getting our roof repaired after Hurricane Ian, along with other existing damage that needed repair. On top of all that, they replaced my entire roof, soffit, and fascia in just one day! The seamless gutters came the next day, now my house (at least from above) looks brand new! Excellent work, great craftsmanship, and you can TELL he takes pride in every project. There was a rafter repair that he didn't like how it was done, so instead of just leaving it like a LOT of contractors would, he came back and made SURE it was done right at no additional cost to me. Weathertek is the name on the invoice. Please be careful hiring them. Additionally, they used sheetrock puddy to fill the cracks that weren't smoothed out. Got over spray on our flower beds. Broke my glass kerosene lantern, my mother's wind chime, got the putty that they used to fill the cracks all over garden hose that doesn't come off. I am so happy that I made the decision to get this repair done now. We're just a few weeks from storm season here in Florida, and the damage around our chimney was extensive. The work extended to actually repairing rotten decking and below that, the actual rafter frames needed to be sistered with new wood to restore it to a secure set of rafters. The men were efficient and workmanlike, breaking only for lunch and one run to the lumberyard to get more wood, and another sheet of steel. Other than that, the Gage had made a good estimate and most of the materials were ready for the work. We are now considering a full roof replacement due to new understanding about the poor quality of the initial roof installation. I recommend A3. I invited them to bid the replacement, although I have not yet heard what the final amount would be.

There was a quick response as to when they can come out and inspect. I had a gut feeling when the female rep over the phone had asked how old my roof was that they were planning on trying to sell me a whole roof repair quote. But I gave them a chance and have them inspect and take a look. 2 men pulled up on the driveway and introduced themselves. I allowed them to go ahead and inspect. The inspection took awhile so I knew then they were inspecting the whole roof and not only the problem area I addressed only. When they were done with the inspection the sales manager I believe gave me a folder pamphlet with papers and quotas of 2 price point. He gave me a FULL ROOF REPAIR quote. And not a SPOT REPAIR that I anticipated. He mentioned having the insurance come up to cover costs and also perhaps deal with legal action if insurance do not want to cover. He then mentioned he knows a "legal" person to contact if I needed it. That part of the volunteered info in my opinion I knew I need to find another company to deal with my issue. When I asked him - If he can just fix the issue I need to have fixed he blew it off and had no answer. I knew then this company only deal and want FULL ROOF REPAIRS from customers if not they feel its a waste of time I guess. He stated to me he will email the pictures they took of my whole roof so I can show the insurance company. I NEVER received those photos up to this day. They probably perhaps do good roof work via reviews on here however I think they only deal with FULL ROOF REPAIRS and not partial or spot repairs. I got my roof repaired elsewhere.

Luckily, I was able to find a roofing company that exceeded all my expectations when it comes to customer satisfaction and value. Chris was able to go over all the details from our roofing questions and was patient with us when choosing the right shingles for our roof. The process was pretty smooth. Once we were able to schedule a date for project start, all we had to do was wait; unfortunately we did have one delay only because weather didn't allow the project to commence. But the very next day, they got it done. I'm so happy with the final product.
