I recently went in for a lamp out warning on my 2004 Dodge Ram. Devon (Micro), Tim, and Johnathan performed a full light inspection test on my vehicle for brakes, headlights, and turn signals. The test revealed that my rear driver side brake light was out. They immediately replaced it and were very professional and courteous throughout the repair. I have an upcoming oil change and will be bringing my vehicle back to this location due to the great customer service. The service was quick, professional, and with quality work performed!

You pull into one of the 2 bays and shut down the engine and sit in your vehicle while they do their work. Things move quickly and their prices are comparable with any other oil change station in Bossier/Shreveport. I'll continue to use them in the future and if your needing your oil changed and see the sign for a Valvoline Oil Change location give them a try.

During my visit, the technician Monroe told me my right headlight was going in and out and asked if I wanted it replaced. I agreed but asked for the total cost of both the oil change and the bulb replacement before proceeding. Monroe assured me they had two bulbs in stock. He and another technician, Christian, attempted to replace the bulb but broke it in the process. Afterward, Monroe admitted that they actually did not have the correct bulb--despite previously saying they did. I submitted a claim with Valvoline, which led to a meeting with the manager, Morgan, three days later. Unfortunately, this only made the situation worse. Morgan was dismissive, unprofessional, and disrespectful. He refused to acknowledge what happened--even though the bulb was working before his team broke it--and he would not reimburse me for the $20 bulb. This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. As an African American woman, I felt disrespected, ignored, and devalued as both a paying customer and a loyal one. The way Morgan handled this situation shows a complete lack of integrity, accountability, and professionalism. My warning: If you are a woman or a minority, stay away from this Valvoline location. They do not respect loyal customers, and management refuses to do the right thing when their employees make mistakes.

I had to bring my car back multiple times, but even after two or three attempts, the Bluetooth still does not work properly. To make matters worse, the shop has now stopped responding to me altogether. This experience has been extremely frustrating. Not only did my car come back with a new problem, but I am now forced to pay another mechanic to fix what they broke. Poor communication, lack of accountability, and failure to resolve the issue make it very difficult for me to recommend this shop.

At least six cars have came in after me. They have completed the work on all of those cars and all I need is for my tires to be balanced. They've tried to up-sell me tires, even told me that my lugs needed to be "hammered" off. The best part is when an employee called me STUPID for asking what was going on, why is it taking so long, and why all of the vehicles that got here after I did are gone. I've asked for the number to corporate several times. (At least 10) It was just given to me after I believe it is the manager tried to explain that they need to use a different socket to get the lugs off. I kept asking where did the hammer come in at and if they had the socket, what's the problem. I keep getting the run around while they keep pulling other cars in and pulling them out. We have purchased these tires from Discount. (not this location) We've purchased ALL of the tires on all of our vehicles from Discount Tire. I've never been treated like this, felt like this or seen this happen before in my life. I am truly amazed, hurt and shocked. I know I'm in the south, but WOW! DISCOUNT TIRE BOSSIER CITY LOUISIANA, you've disrespected a loyal customer with this one. Did I mention that EVERY customer that they have put in front of me are of a different color than I am.

I attempted to call first so I could make an appointment, but was advised "first come, first served." Bet. I'm up there first thing this morning, I walk in and the guy has his back turned and doesn't acknowledge me. Fine. I'm here for my mom's car. I say "Good Morning" and the 'gentleman' behind the counter says "ok". I then followed up with "How are you?" *stares* I then state the purpose for my visit, a new SET of tires for my mom's car. "Do you know what size they are?" "No," I said. He rolls his eyes and walks out the door. While I'm watching him walk away, I'm already a bit annoyed, but then I look up to see the paraphernalia on the walls of the establishment that fully explains his behavior toward me. First I see the 2nd Amendment, then I see a picture of a gun with a caption which reads, "Gun for sale-used once on a coon." Then I see photos that alluded to political beliefs. It was at that time I CHOSE to walk. Believe what you believe. Support whom/whatever you support, but have enough self-control and professionalism to be courteous. Convenience will not force me to succumb to crude behavior. If you approve of this "Richard's" behavior, consider this an endorsement. If not, avoid this place at all cost. P.S. on my way out, someone with a different hue and gender was warmly greeted upon entry and was asked, "How can I help you buddy?" At least I know he is capable of courteous behavior.
