I made my way to good ole' Thomson to attend a friend's funeral. I got lost using the GPS to find…read morethe actually church. It wasn't too far from where I ended up. Thank God!!!!! This is a nice church and my friend, Cedric, laid in state before the funeral. He looked really nice. There was a great turnout for his funeral. A lot of ministers were in attendance because he was a minister, himself. The pastor who delivered the eulogy did a fabulous job consoling the family, giving encouragement to the attendants of the funeral, and just tell the truth about life!!! I really enjoyed her eulogy. Some people say she was a bit long winded but I didn't mind that because it was what I needed to hear at that time. He was buried not far from the church and everyone gathered back at the church for the repast. Everything was perfect and I can say Cedric was put away very nicely!!!! I know he couldn't have asked for anything better from his friends and family!!!!
