Very high attention to detail, and quality of work was better than I was likely to do myself, but more importantly, was pro-active in solving problems with rotting wood, and aesthetic issues with my original color scheme, taking care of problems outside the original task at a very reasonable rate. I hired this man/company (by which I mean fraudulent thief) to repair logs on my home, and my…read moreelderly mother gave him a 50% deposit. He showed up at my cabin and had a temper tantrum that he was going to have to share the driveway/work space with another tradesman because he claimed I'd told him we would be alone (not true btw, but scary). I told him to leave and have susequently asked him to return the deposit several times. He has not, and it turns out he isn't even properly licensed to do the log repairs. He speaks disrespectfully to women, to and about his crew and the Ojibway tribe. He left two huge gaping holes in my home, taking not only the new logs he purchased with my deposit but also the old ones that were original from the 30s... Additionally, he had done some painting at my place but did property damage as well when he power washed areas he was not asked to wash. He took it upon himself to choose paint colors for my front porch. Luckily, I ended up finding someone qualified and honest to fix his mess. I'm also working with my attorney and the Alger County Prosecutor to ensure this thief doesn't take advantage of anyone else in the community.

They were both so very nice and respectful, and went above and beyond what they were hired to do (a dresser was moved, only to reveal a big hole in the wall behind it. They located material to cover the hole, and installed it before they left). They did arrive in a hearse LLOL but that's just those guys - they are awesome!! :) My initial interaction with CertaPro was with Matt Gardner. Took him about 5 minutes to get the info he needed for the quote, and then we had a nice chat while he was working it up - hired them on the spot!! If you want quality, efficient and affordable painting done, I would recommend these folks 100%!!

We had had a nightmare experience with Certa Pros. They took over 3 hours longer than then said…read morethey would. They got paint on every fixture and baseboard. They didn't tape anything off. We bought brand new fixtures and they painted right on them! They patched every single hole even though we were told if we left the nail or hook in the wall they wouldn't. They took down where our vacuum was hooked up and patched it. The patched where we needed to connect a range hood back up. They left a light fixture totally hanging off the ceiling. Then we come out of the basement where we were all day long bc this upends the whole house (to be expected but you don't add 3 hours on- you come back the next day- they were rushing!!) three hours late and THEY PAINTED EVERY SINGLE WALL THE WRONG COLORS. not kidding. The accent wall was painted on the regular walls, hallways and main color was on the accent wall. So they had to come out and redo it all again. (Another day of total hassle) We contacted the managers involved and no one ever reply except the "project manager " who would reply when he felt like it no urgency even though they made a colossal mistake! We had to ask at least 5 times to get the remaining paint so we could use it for touch ups. Then they come back to paint our exterior doors (we would not have done this, but we had already signed the contract) and they get paint on the handles (no taping off the handles at all!) , it's a totally splotchy paint job and they had to come back and redo it AGAIN. It's still not great- still paint on handles and no one speaks English so no one to hold accountable except the terrible project manager. We are NOT the type of people to complain and this is my first ever review but it was the worst experience and worst company we've dealt with. Do NOT use them! If I could give no stars I would.

Do your homework before hiring!…read more I wish would have. We had to hang over half the drywall due to them not showing up, even helped finish some of the drywall. Earl never came back to do repairs and touch ups after repeatedly being told they would take care of it. We had to take care of all touch up and repairs. (Can lights buried, cracks from bad tape job). Prime and paint on ceilings he did looked sprayed and not back rolled, he stated they did back roll but Sherwin Williams was having trouble with their matte paint. I was in the drywall business for 20 years before getting into our new business, so I do know what and how it should be done. Homeowner was furious with how long they took to get through the job. Had a million excuses. He has blocked me from emailing or calling him. FACTS Totally disappointed with company. I do feel bad for a bad review to a young business owner but they need to learn.
