I was toldthe draft motor was bad and needed a 1,000 replacement, but a independent evaluation found it was not defective. I also obtained independent opinions that the secondary heat exchanger was defective. During this time, my wife and I were experiencing headaches while using the furnace. After requesting the company inspect the issue, I was told to stop contacting them. I had a very disappointing experience and now working with another contractor that did a replacement. The owner also told me he had plenty of customers and didn't need my business.

Came home after a double shift to find water on my floor and my hot water heater came to it's…read moreexpiration date and needing replacement. Called DeHooghe and Viau and talked to Kathy and she told me that their repairman were close by on a job and would have them come by after they were finished. Started this whole process around 9:30 AM and was expecting to have them come by and tell me that they would have to replace and figured I would have to schedule an appointment and would probably have h of water again in a week or so. Kathy called me around noon and said they were on their way. Austin and Logan showed up and were very professional and told me that it would have to be replaced and would be back shortly with a new one from the shop! In about another two hours they had removed my old hot water heater and replaced it with a brand new one! By around 3:30 PM I had hot water and a load of stress and relief off my mind! He told me he works high all the time. He did not finish anything he did here and he got paid. He did not finish my roof he stole roofing tar that I bought I saw it in his house. He does not tell you when the work is done he does not write up estimates or receipts you cannot reach him he does not return phone calls he is always a no-show and then he will dump you without a reason and never come back with the work left on done. I have a police report on him.I am thrilled that he was recalled all the time and he still couldn't fix anything right he left a gigantic hole in my wall for someone else to fix and a big leak there. I am just thrilled that he works under the influence and drives that way because that's why his work stinks.
