She laughed at the situation and the miscommunication, but I kept it professional; after explaining myself and following the protocol to file a claim, she then "transferred me" to a different department, but it wasn't the correct one, I had to work triple to find it. I want to avoid thinking that she did it on purpose, but I wouldn't doubt it given her attitude.
