We supplied the shingles and the two employees were at our property for 45 minutes total. When I received my invoice for the exact same amount as the quote ($490+hst) I was actually shocked. I called and left a message with the receptionist so that I could chat with them about it. I didn't receive a call back. The next morning I called again. I spoke with someone and explained calmly that I am absolutely happy to pay for services rendered but I didn't think it was fair to charge me $563 for 45 minutes of work. The response I got was that "there's nothing we can do" and that "people expect them to drive all over the province for $50 but they're not just two guys and a hammer. They have insurance to pay and WCB to pay". To be clear, I live in Canning and they are in Port Williams. I was more than happy to pay for the work done but I clearly stated to him that they were being unfair. He didn't budge at all so I paid the invoice but I will never use them again.
