Our wedding photos came out stunning and truly capture the energy, emotions, and loving moments of our wedding day. Evgenia told our story beautifully through her lens and we are eternally grateful for all the stunning photos we have to look back on. Her work is truly impeccable and to this day we are blown away every time we look at our wedding photos. We had a destination wedding in Puerto Vallarta. We were initially a little nervous about going with a local wedding photographer, although when I saw Evgenia's beautiful work on instagram I decided to inquire about her wedding photography. She quickly responded and met up with my husband and I in person while we were on vacation in Puerto Vallarta. After meeting with her in person, we immediately knew that we wanted her as our wedding photographer and booked her right away. She connected us with a local videographer (Me and My Wife Films/Max Conrad) who is just as amazing and talented (Evgenia and Max are truly the perfect duo!). Evgenia has such a calming presence and is amazing at communicating, which is a breath of relief that every bride needs. She goes out of her way to help her clients in any way she can, even if it's unrelated to wedding photography. She truly was our saving grace in many instances during our wedding planning process which I'm BEYOND grateful for. She had also previously captured weddings at our venue which was a huge advantage as she was familiar with the area and knew the best spots for photos. We got our wedding photos back so fast, and when I say my jaw dropped when I saw our photos I mean it! She truly is so talented and we are so blessed to have had her capture our special day. Went through the hassle of getting all dressed up for the photos and walking our three small kids to the meeting point in extremely hot weather. Long story short, their photographer never showed up. We sent messages and emails asking for their status and finally, after about an hour, their photographer responded without apologizing, offering to meet up a different day. We told them we wanted my $ back. They ignored us. We kept following up for a refund and they eventually responded that if we wanted a refund, we would need to send them our bank account routing and account number. These guys are scammers. Avoid at all costs.

She knew about the photo shoot but did not know I would propose during it. Diego and I had agreed to a signal to each other so we would both know the best time for me to pop the question and he captured the exact moment beautifully. He even captured 2 whales in the ocean behind us right after she said Yes. We absolutely love the photos!! We had done a photo shoot before and that prior one did not feel natural and the pics were not very good. Diego made us very comfortable and he was able to gently suggest several scenes for us (not poses) that turned out great in the pics. All the advance planning was done via email - I did not meet Diego until it was time for the photo shoot at the Puerto Vallarta Marriott. During the planning phase, the Chas Studio team was very responsive and prompt with my several questions. They also provided some great recommendations for PV restaurants that I made advance reservations for so we could celebrate in Zona Romantica during our trip. I wanted a surprise bottle of Champaign and 2 glasses - Diego offered to pick that up himself but I had the hotel pack it in a bag that Diego covertly picked up before he met us so that my GF would be surprised with it after I proposed. He carried that bag around with all his equipment for the first half of the session without complaining. He was amazing to work with! He offered to meet with us as many times as we wanted for as many photo sessions as we needed. We were totally struck by his level of enthusiasm and passion for photographing us. He was very flexible with timing the photoshoots (we ended up shooting 2 days in a row, both times around sunset in different outfits) around our excursion times, and we easily kept in touch via email. He replied very quickly to my emails so it was almost like instant message. We were able to email him that we were running late the first day and there was no trouble. He also was very natural to work with and came up with great poses but also let us be "in our element" for a lot of the photos. We were lucky to have 2 beautiful sunsets on our photoshoot days, given that we came during the rainy season -- but he would have been happy to reschedule. After all the photos were taken, Iván sat down with us for what was planned for a 30 min to 1 hr session to look at the finished photos, and this turned into a 2 hour session because he let us sit on his computer to choose our favorite photos and which ones we wanted as prints and canvas. He was super patient and edited out blemishes for us in all of our final photos. He made changes to the brightness / colors at our request without hesitation. This entire process was amazing and would not have been possible without Iván and his passion and patience. As an additional note, the photo sessions are completely complimentary (we are guests at Secrets Vallarta Bay) for guests of Now Amber and Secrets Vallarta Bay, and they really mean it - as many photoshoots as you want without additional cost. They have some reasonable photo packages for when you are ready to purchase the photos. They ship all the stuff back to the address of your choice at no additional cost!

Carlos met us at Xel-Ha and was very patient with our family of 16. He went well over the agreed time and did it with a smile. Needless to say, our photos came out beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the results. PIXTORE is very reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend Carlos and Pixtore for any photo shoots, they are AWESOME!!!
