The rude lady who answered stated she needed my name, address, and phone number in order to give me a quote. I told her I just wanted the prices because I haven't settled on a company yet and that she didn't need my name etc. She just blurted out while I was talking "ok well goodbye" and proceeded to hang up on me. I've never been treated like this from a company before, especially one I would be giving my hundred of dollars to. I just wanted pricing, not give my life's history, especially when no other company is doing this. I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. There's many dumpster companies in my city and I will use any dumpster company other than "Affordable Dumpsters". They're a very unprofessional company, especially the person who answered the phone. Don't ever use this company, because what company is so arrogant that they demand you give them all your info just to get a quote, when most companies just list their prices on their website. if you desire great service don't use "Affordable Dumpsters". Somehow this all added up to over 5,000 lbs according to the company. As the sole person working on that project, I am positive there's no way I moved that much material. The dumpster was only 2/3 full too. Be careful and I suppose try to weight things as you load them in. Otherwise you'll get stuck paying twice as much as you expected.

As far as the move itself, nothing was damaged and all critical items made it over on the move day! There were a few very minor items missed during the pack and move, so I'd suggest reviewing the team's work carefully, but I think this is probably normal for a chaotic process with lots of moving pieces.

On May 20 2026, a Collegs Hunks truck pulled down our cable…read moreline. There was damage to the siding, fascia, trim, and also pulled our electrical meter off the house with the siding. They said they would fix all the damage as well as reimburse us $1000 for the inconvenience. Their contractors painted the house the wrong color, they never relaced any damged wood or trim. They did not fix the fascia, or properly caulk the large gaps that now exist in the affected area they created. They then informed us they would not be reimbrsing us as they had previously stated. If you are in the greater Kalamazoo area I would look elsewhere for a company that keeps its word.
