Things happen - but communication is key! Several people were affected by this delay and he doesn't really seem to care too much about that. A simple text or call back would be a more professional approach so people can plan and not have to keep changing their schedules. Plenty of surveyors in this area besides this one - shop around and get someone who communicates and does what he/she promises.

Mistake after mistake after mistake, including serious ones that would have cost us real money if we hadn't caught them. Even worse, they filed a deed with Brazos County that has the owner names wrong(!), and there's no undoing it. Yes, there's an amendment - a short, separate document - now filed with the county, but the recorded deed has the names wrong permanently, and it's likely to cause us problems in the future. Letterman even issued a title policy with the names wrong! The number of mistakes we did catch makes me wonder how many we didn't. Who knows? Title companies aren't hard to find, and I suggest finding one that is a lot more concerned about getting every detail right.
