After a month of back and forth, and a letter from an attorney, I finally received my deposit back, but it was still the incorrect amount. There was water leaking from my ceiling and it took 4 phone calls before they finally sent someone over to look at the house. By then, there was severe water damage to the ceiling. And then after they came and the inspection was short and sweet! Today we got our security deposit back in full and they even wrote us a nice note on the check saying "I hope we can be of assistance in the future, thank you". Which just really meant a lot.
