I was referred too John by another Very well known Large respected contractor in town who always…read moreuses them for their familys propertys. That was last fall and the season had ended. Never the less John came out with samples and we discussed two major buildings several roof types but selected a 35 y high end shingle. Not the cheap ones made in Shakopee you find allot here (I know them from seperates enterprise Atlas is not being quoted here). John was $12.5k under the last 2 companies I tried, both of whom flaked out and didn't start working or ever returned calls again. [Ai says this was in the normal price range but on the very fair side]. Come spring John called me first too give me heads up on temps , schedule and wait list, we had a few weather issues in the way. He came back we talked about some side jobs I didn't expect he would cover including; a shed, siding, missing soffets leading too drip rails falling off, and wood rotting. He added it for a few hundred and truthfully his crew actually did a lil extra gratas. They also upgraded all vents as well as adding one [mine were new but the plastic kind rodents can break into but no longer]. Come warmer weather this spring they got here an did the sidejobs the day before, then attacked roof , then by noon it was done. Took about 5 hours the crew covered everything by house, minded robot mower and cleaned the debris up including nails with magnetic roller sweeps. Communication has been been a high point here I simply wrote a check afterwards n it was done. Other firms I tried wanted allot more money, non compete, and 6 month commitment contracts. Plus were high pressure [ then of course never showed again]. At that point I decided Id ask for referrals an got Atlas. Afterwards I'm told too expect an inspector too double check it, then if there's a problem call any time. I have actually but only too get referrals on some tricky unrelated jobs involving river landscaping not because of any issues with the work. Good old fashioned net working. So basically I recommend Atlas for : -Communication/professionalism -Timeliness -Speed -Thoroughness -Value -Simplicity/no pressure dealing -Cleanup/protection -A mindfulness of proper conditions too adhear shingles under, he could clearly do more work but wouldn't unless conditions were correct. This speaks too me of someone who cares about reputation and quality over quantity. So I say proceed here with out qualms or doubts. Plus he's a nice guy with a friendly crew too work with. Ps. I normally don't leave reviews unless I feel it's warranted, I write them for compensation and do product testing so they are work. Doing it for free on Yelp is it's own statement. At this point, our larger concern is the lack of communication and accountability. Despite multiple calls and emails requesting a long-term solution, the company has stopped responding entirely. A roof is a major investment, and homeowners should be able to trust both the quality of the work and the professionalism of the company standing behind it. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this company due to the ongoing workmanship concerns and poor communication.

We gave him a call and he answered and was the most professional and trustworthy guy we could have asked for. Brad answered all our questions honestly, and most importantly, worked with us about our idea and put it into the end product. One of the most beautiful things on our remodel is the stamped concrete pattern he did for us, and the rest of the concrete driveway. Our home is above the street level, and so the driveway is the very first thing you notice and it is amazing. He took the time to really understand what we wanted and after he and his team (a great team he has as well) were done, we were more than pleased. His does quality work. He doesn't cut corners. We hired Brad and ICF to repair a front porch that spans 40 feet of our house (it had raised on the…read morefront side leading to improper drainage), replace a damaged sidewalk with a stamped and colored sidewalk, and install an apron in front of the garage when we had a new asphalt driveway installed. Brad and crew did a stellar job with the sidewalk, and had to MacGiver a solution with the forms he had in order to create to look we were after. All went well until the winter, when the concrete on the apron started to fail (the top coat of the broomed surface pitted significantly and chipped away). Brad came out the following spring to inspect the apron, had the concrete supplier come out to try to figure out what had happened. They were unable to determine a cause, as the other surfaces (sidewalk and porch) did not have the same problem. However, Brad guaranteed the work and he and his crew tore out the entire apron (10 feet deep and three garage stalls wide) and replaced it with a new one. They also resealed the sidewalk at no cost. Excellent work. Fast forward two years.....I contacted Brad to get information on the type of sealer I should apply to the sidewalk and other surfaces. He provided me with information on the different types that should be used (different types for the stamped concrete and the broomed surfaces), and emailed me links on the products he suggested. Two months later he contacted me to see if I had sealed the sidewalk yet. When I informed him that I had not, he offered to come out and do it for me. Two weeks after that we came home to a newly sealed sidewalk......at no cost to us. Our experience with Brad has been nothing but positive and would highly recommend his work.

If you're dealing with an insurance claim, they're definitely worth considering as they fight to give the best results to return your home to the way it was or better. This can be a long process but Advance Companies stays on top of it. Sometimes they'll need help from the homeowner as with insurance, homeowners are their customers and will be more responsive to pushing the claim process along; the same for fighting for what the homeowner wants for a complete repairs as insurance companies do their best to give just the super minimum to be able to do a complete restoration of homes.. The same goes with the remodel side. They give realistic estimates to what they need to complete your home project.
