Well, I think I got Pauline's stereotypical black version of how she deliberates her speeches. She told me my middle class, country bumpkin behind was more street smart than educated. I briefly thought about discontinuing payment for the two masters degree loans and moving to a place with lots of streets to "school" me instead. Really "learnt" something there. She also informed me I'd never be rich but I'm a "survivor". She mentioned survivor several times. I didn't follow that one up. From the 5 star post directly below, I was told 1, 2 and 7 as well. Another review mentioned medical stuff, and i heard that too. Pauline tried saying my mother, grandmother or I was on meds, but I quickly put the kybosh on that b/c with that list of folks, we're either healthy or dead. It was a nice compliment though (grandmother on meds), like getting carded at the store. She got wrong: number of kids, health, job dissatisifaction, moving, etc. I received palm reading and Egyptian cards. $45 for 20 mins. While NOT looking at any of my Egyptian cards she told me my love life was cursed from a generational feud and it would cost me $100 for her to lift it. She wasn't looking to get rich, just help me, she said. Apparently, all Egyptian cards pointed to Rome because all she did was try to negotiate relieving me of a benjamin the entire card reading time. Perhaps my wild ringlets reminded her that the devil be good in Barbados, but I'm not from there. My love life is the pits right now, but I've never had more money or been happier! If I change my mind at some point, I'll probably still skip Pauline, save a hundo and go make my own darn spider and bat wing potion (not to be confused with snake oil). read more

My friend had a reading the day before, she told him almost the exact things she told me, word for word. You will live till old age, someone in your family has to keep taking medicine, it won't get better or worse without it and so on and so forth. She was hardly even looking at the cards, it was like scripted. After reading the reviews on here, it appears she basically tells everyone the same bs storyline to everyone. I think she's a scammer beware. read more

I love this place! We go every year to visit York and Wells Maine and we always make it a point to stop in. I suggest bringing a note pad and pencil and have a friend write down or you while she's doing the reading. It's really nice to be able to look back and see what was said. She is amazing and definitely worth going to. read more

Had a horrible experience here. I am in a wheelchair but am in good health. Last year, I went to Pauline and she refused to read me because of my disability. I think she was claiming she couldn't see past my disability to do the reading but my questions were not about my health. She might be a decent reader but that was purely illegal. read more

I went in and gave her my 20.00. She asked if I wanted a tarot or palm reading. I asked for a tarot reading. The first she flipped and told me some thing about money. I understand these can be vague and are totally open to interpretation. But the second and third round of flipped cards she asked me the same question and repeated word for word what she had just told me, not only the question of did I have a man in my life- but flipped different cards and repeated word for word what she had just said the previous set of cards, no variation what so ever. Unfortunately it took all the fun out of it. I began wondering if something was wrong with her. I understand everyone is affected by Covid and don't want her to lose money, but I am to, which is why I was in Maine rather than on a vacation elsewhere. While some fun to the kids, would have been a better investment for them to spend the money at Fun-O-Rama. $10 for palm readings and $20 for tarot cards. The palm reading took about 5 minutes and the tarot cards maybe 15 minutes. Both were done separate times on the same person and both times it seemed to be a rehearsed speech. Fun for a group of friends to watch 1 person get their readings, but just as an entertainment factor. Definitely is something different done that isn't seen so often. Most days walking by she was there late (9pm or so) waiting for more customers to stop by. read more
