I first discovered them in 2013 when I moved to the area, and they had a "Buy 2 games under $10, get 1 free" deal that exists today. Aside from media and games, they also sell skateboards, wheels, grip tape, etc. at the back of the shop. They have some related toys to video games and other collectibles here and there in the store, as well. The smiling kids that left the store as I was walking in reminds me of what these places offered that big box companies can't: a specific specialness in the community.

I also bought a used copy of Assassin's Creed here. When I tried to trade it in, the cashier claimed there was damage to the case (I inspected it, there wasn't any that I could see). Long story short, if you buy something here, don't expect to be able to take it back. The selection of games here is great, but it's not really worth the hassle.

They also have a cabinet that has "rare games" with prices to match, but nothing ever feels outrageous. All games are priced competitively and the store itself feels open, bright, and welcoming. While I might not be a massive player anymore, I always stop by when I can to pick up cheap entertainment or if I get tempted for a new blockbuster. The employees are nice, and I found they give better prices for used games compared to gamestop.
