service dept is terrible. Munich has been all week and they haven't even diagnosed the issue. i…read moreeven told them what was wrong with it. I called service everyday. No follow up calls, not updates, not even a courtesy to return my calls. they keep saying they're short handed, only have 2 techs, same excuse they've been using for the last 2 years. If my truck wasn't under warranty, I wouldn't use them. this is last time for me.

This is not a person I would recommend to oversee any business operation. Not only did they keep my vehicle for almost 5 months. I paid over five thousand dollars for a rental car that I wasn't informed of out of pocket until after my car was in their care for over 4 months. When I visited again to speak to the General Manager and Service manager the General manager agreed to give me another rental without any out of pocket to me personally. He again lied and had his service manager send me another bill. When my husband and I went to pick up my car and pay the amount because they were not releasing my vehicle to me otherwise he told my husband that my daughter and I had lied to him about our conversation. What he doesn't know is we recorded said conversation. The dealership and the insurance company should have worked this out. It's not my fault that they took 5 months to find out my cars problems. I would highly suggest this corporation do a formal investigation on warrant and Insurance fraud on this dealership. Johnny the GM is not an honorable man, he is not a leader and he definitely isn't going to make this right with us. I am formally filing a complaint with the Texas Motor Vehicle Commission and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, among other relevant organizations, to report the questionable practices I encountered. It is unacceptable that they attempted to file warranties and insurance without a clear understanding of the situation, raising serious concerns about potential fraudulent actions. While I am considering legal action, I want to make it clear that I will not allow this matter to be swept under the rug. The fact that I was compelled to pay a substantial sum for their inability to diagnose my vehicle's issues is not only counterproductive but utterly unbelievable. I demand accountability and transparency from this establishment. Sincerely, Susan Holland

Bill Wells Chevrolet - Not a single lug nut on the tire

Dear Bill Wells: I…read moreunderstand there's a labor charge for when you service vehicles, but when you say you couldn't fix the problem, you should have no right in withholding the vehicle if you failed to fix the problem and still charge $125.00 for a service charge. You should have a sign displayed that says, "we may fail to fix your vehicle's problem, but a service charge is required before you get your keys back" - crying shame. Pathetic customer service Mr. Wells.

I bought a Jeep that nearly killed myself and my five year old son five minutes after driving off…read morethe lot because a tire was not secured with a single lug nut. This isn't negligence - it's gross negligence. I had just driven by sonic when my son said he wanted a drink. I slowed down to turn around and the entire front end of the Jeep collapsed. Had my son not asked for a drink it would have happened 10 seconds later at a speed of 65 mph on the Olton Highway. The dealership salesman came out right away and towed it to Bill Wells. For that I'm appreciative but my complaint resonates with the GM who I had an appointment with the following day. To compensate me for a car that collapsed on the ground due to no lug nuts on a tire, the brakes flying off, and causing whatever else damage - $500 off the sales price. When I declined and ultimately traded back for my car I had traded in the day before and canceling the transaction, the GM had the audacity to get up and walk off from me angrily. There was no thank you for being reasonable, no have a nice day, no apology. In fact, the salesman looked at me confused and asked if I thought the meeting was over? Could have I sued? Yes. Could have I been unreasonable? Yes. I chose to give a local business a break during all this covid craziness, but the conduct of the GM must be recognized. I am curious if he would have stormed off in that manner had a man been the buyer instead of me. As much as I want to put money back in the Plainview economy, plainview must recognize both Lubbock and Amarillo are right down the road. If you fail this much, how can people even try to put money in the economy here?
