This location us my regular stop in after work because ours are great and line ups are manageable. I learned something interesting and new. It seems Price Scanner Error Policies are different. No longer can you fix a mispriced item at the till. There are some pros and cons to this. Pro is that a cashier does not have to wait on a supervisor to clear the free item under $10. This means lines can keep going and there are minimal hold ups. Con is that you have to do the extra walk to customer service and show them and stuff -in some cases they send a runner to confirm the barcoding. Time difference. Well if you have a photo, you can estimate based on typical peak line ups an extra 5 to 10min. But if you have to send a runner to confirm then it will take the same amount of time. I brought a photo so it was pretty fast, though didnt appreciate customer service touching my phone to see the barcode. Perhaps ask before you touch. Cell phones are personal item ma'am. Honestly do you need a person to really do this for you. Just have self serve systems that allow customers to get their free items and price adjustments. It's going to benefit your store anyway. Why make a customer do more work to help you correct your price errors right?

It's time to update my review. Since the beginning of the year and my first experiences here my opinion has changed. I hate this store. They are almost always out of anything that's on sale through Superstore or their competitors (thanks to their ad-match program). Self checkouts always seems to flake out and wind up taking longer than going to a real cashier - which are not always available. The only reason I ever go to this store anymore is to access the seafood department and the only time it's worth the trip is if Stuart is working. Seriously. He is this store's most valuable asset by far. He is always there to the end of his shift (unlike other employees that are ready to walk out the door 30 minutes before close and won't provide service because they chose to clean the area up early) and he's always helpful and knowledgeable. I have never had any complaints about service or quality when Stuart's been behind the counter. I have had though when other employees have been on shift. I can not say enough how fantastic he is. Really, the service he provides in the seafood department is the sole reason I shop there anymore. Sad. 1-star for the store but 5-stars for Stuart.

2.5* maybe? "Superstore" is pretty accurate for this location. This place is absolutely HUGE with an in-house optical, Wine Rack, florist, financial institution, Joe Fresh, pharmacy, card section, toys, beauty department, etc. etc. However, I think the sheer size of this place is its downfall. It's so large that as a shopper, you feel anonymous. Hey, maybe that's what people prefer, but I like slightly cozier grocery shopping experience. After all, who wants to walk a football field to grab a carton of milk? I'm not sure if it was the time in which I visited, on a Saturday just before dinner time, but this place was pretty empty. So that's sort of a bonus, right? Anyway, I also noticed that quite a few items did not have the price listed, plus there were some misplaced items. If you're unfamiliar with the layout, finding something specific can be a bit overwhelming/slightly frustrating. There could be some good deals though...if you're able to find them!

Its a huge place to shop around and get things done! By getting things done I mean its all there and fully stocked so you would not have to go any place else. The entire store is kept clean, they also have their own parking but you will get tired of walking around. They also have a food court area with decent pricing and food.

A Great Place to Shop!! It's always the ease, convenience and accessibility of this place that makes us coming back. It has multiple brands under one roof, T&T, Arz, PC, Joe Fresh all together. It's spacious and well organized with lot of room for carts moving both ways. The produce section is very good and always fresh, no doubt the prices are comparatively higher for produce. The bakery section of this place is great, lot of varieties, including the Indian sweets and Baklava's and such as well. The rep also gave us a free cookie looking at the child. The amount of cakes available to choose from were many, they also do customized cakes. The Joe Fresh here is not as big as others, so not much items to look through. Pharmacy, Holiday Section, Kids and Cosmetics are well stocked as well. From a cash perspective, there are self checkouts, the express and other checkouts are lesser in comparison, hence could be a little lineup. There's also a Food Bank at the end of Checkouts. All in All Enjoy shopping here every time !!

CHEAT or DIET?:…read more CHEAAATTTT Ok I'd like to foreword that I'm only reviewing the pistachio cake from Highland Farms. Now let me tell you about this cake. Is it moist? Yes. Is sweet? Absurdly yes. Is it worth it? If it fits in your macros, then yes. This cake is delicious and cheap. I ain't gunna lie. It's like if Wonderful Pistachios married a twinkie. This cake was $28 + tax. Definitely great for parties and not for eating yourself . it's definitely on the sweeter side, so I wouldn't share with your Asian moms. They're going to complain it's too sweet. But overall pretty good if you're bulking or don't care about calories. Shoutout to the cake people. Their service is great and nice, and they even decorate the cake box with ribbons. The cashiers leave much to be desired, but I guess this isn't Costco lol. Ambiance feels like a European grocery store at the size of a warehouse store. Deli had hot food and cold salads but no protein based salads. Ended up getting a small premade pasta salad, a trio of hummus, and prepackaged grilled chicken breast strips. Nothing was great. Looks like they have a plentiful produce section and a bakery. Aside from that, less than optimal grocery store. I would not recommend stopping here if you shop at other places. If this is your usual spot, you already know what's good/bad about it. Bring your own bag or buy one when you check out. Bathrooms are near checkout, they're decent. Plenty of parking on both sides of the store.

Review for only the bakery section, not the grocery department…read more I gave the Adonis baked goods section a try as they had a wide selection of cookies, full sized cakes, and treats, and I love pistachio flavoured sweets, which they had lots of. Since it was right after the holidays they had small and medium gift packages of cookies, and cookies individually are priced by weight, though there was frequent lack of signage to tell what the cookies were or what they cost. I opted to try some cake slices prior to getting a whole cake of the same flavour. I got the pistachio swiss roll and pistachio cake slice, and the staff had mentioned the rectangular cake slice would taste more strongly of pistachio. I tried both at home and the swiss roll has a stronger pistachio taste, both were kind of weak tasting, but that is not the issue at hand. Both the cake and swiss roll were tough and stale, to the point where grocery store frozen cake tastes better. Even those $5 or $6 vanilla cakes at Walmart are not this hard. The cream, the sponge cake, all of it was old and rubbery. Save yourself the pain and get cake somewhere else. I felt like I was eating fake wax food instead of real cake. I'm really disappointed as their bakery section is huge and seemed to have a lot to offer, but I've been burned and am reluctant to try their other sweets.

I needed to pick up a few grocery items, so dropping by Food World Supermarket afterwards was perfect. This building used to Rose Garden Banquet and Convention. I'm guessing that due to the pandemic, this business suffered and shut down. There is plenty of parking in front and around this supermarket. I backed into a spot and walked in. The doors automatically open, which is wonderful. This supermarket is located across from Burger King. I often frequent it when I crave a flame-broiled burger. Both are in the same plaza as Wok of Asia. It's clean and cheerful when you first walk in. You see cases of pop and sparking water. The produce section then greets you. I needed avocados and celery. Prices are either comparable to what you see at grocery stores like No Frills, but the quality is better. Both produce items that I grabbed were fresh and in great condition. This grocery store carries halal items. It features a lot of South Asian products, such as Parle-G and paratha. You also see ramen and Ribena, both of which made me love shopping at this store even more. I saw everything from custard to paneer. It does sell corned beef in cans and rose water in glass bottles. Cool! The meat section is impressive. It's huge with every cut of meat that you can possibly think of. You can get food to go. There's a stall within the supermarket where you can get pizza, shawarma, and more. I paid for my produce. The woman at the checkout was extremely pleasant and nice. I paid with my debit card. This store gives you a plastic bag. I thanked her and headed to the exit. Just before you exit, there's a stall that sells desserts, ice cream, drinks, and more. I asked the woman behind the counter whether their drinks have added sugar. They don't. The store goes with the natural sweetness of their fruit or veggies. I wanted to get the sugar cane and coconut hydrating beverage. She had run out of coconut, so I got a large sugar cane drink. As she made my drink, I looked at the desserts display. There were individual portions of chocolate mousse cake and sponge cakes. You can also get milkshakes, ice cream, and more. She asked whether I wanted ice in my sugar cane drink. I said as much as the cup could fit the ice. It was perfect on a hot day. I asked the nice woman how long this supermarket has been open for. It opened on May 18th. I paid with my debit card. Done! I thanked the woman and left with my groceries and drink. The sugarcane was indeed the real deal. It was naturally sweet and yummy. I was happy with my drink. It was nice consuming it as I drove home. Whenever I was in the area to grab some dinner, there was never a supermarket close by to get a few grocery items. It's definitely more convenient now thanks to this Food World. (174)
