A recent experience I had at RCSS Mavis Rd in Mississauga has left me extremely upset. Since a few months there's an associate by the name of Stephanie at their Customer Service counter. This person is extremely unprofessional and rude causing intentional problems resulting in severe distress. I have been a regular Customer of RCSS and shopped here three times a week. Once I had a return with my receipt and she was at the returns registe. The return exchange with receipt is 14 days with Receipt. She refused and informed that its with in seven days. I didn't argue and left. I did my shopping and then which paying the the cash register I saw some other lady at the Customer Service counter. I went to her and she checked the original receipt and processed thd return without any issue. The same item with same original receipt was refused by Stephanie 30 minutes earlier. Stephanie is an ugly scar at the reputation of this store. I don't feel like going to for groceries at this store anymor. The bad behaviour of this unscrupulous employee will result in losing good customers for the Store!! read more

My favourite store to shop for all my groceries!! Wide varieties of fresh bakery items, with reasonable prices. Best fresh fruits and vegetables. Way better quality and prices than Walmart. They also do price match so if you find a lower price you can price match as well. Best courteous staff and the cashiers who are always helpfuL, except one African lady at the customer service at Mavis Dundas RCSS. I always find the RCSS way better than Walmart or any other grocery store. read more

This location us my regular stop in after work because ours are great and line ups are manageable. I learned something interesting and new. It seems Price Scanner Error Policies are different. No longer can you fix a mispriced item at the till. There are some pros and cons to this. Pro is that a cashier does not have to wait on a supervisor to clear the free item under $10. This means lines can keep going and there are minimal hold ups. Con is that you have to do the extra walk to customer service and show them and stuff -in some cases they send a runner to confirm the barcoding. Time difference. Well if you have a photo, you can estimate based on typical peak line ups an extra 5 to 10min. But if you have to send a runner to confirm then it will take the same amount of time. I brought a photo so it was pretty fast, though didnt appreciate customer service touching my phone to see the barcode. Perhaps ask before you touch. Cell phones are personal item ma'am. Honestly do you need a person to really do this for you. Just have self serve systems that allow customers to get their free items and price adjustments. It's going to benefit your store anyway. Why make a customer do more work to help you correct your price errors right? read more

The Customer Service desk is not staffed all the time.....nobody there or could be find. The store need to hire more people to work there.

It's time to update my review. Since the beginning of the year and my first experiences here my opinion has changed. I hate this store. They are almost always out of anything that's on sale through Superstore or their competitors (thanks to their ad-match program). Self checkouts always seems to flake out and wind up taking longer than going to a real cashier - which are not always available. The only reason I ever go to this store anymore is to access the seafood department and the only time it's worth the trip is if Stuart is working. Seriously. He is this store's most valuable asset by far. He is always there to the end of his shift (unlike other employees that are ready to walk out the door 30 minutes before close and won't provide service because they chose to clean the area up early) and he's always helpful and knowledgeable. I have never had any complaints about service or quality when Stuart's been behind the counter. I have had though when other employees have been on shift. I can not say enough how fantastic he is. Really, the service he provides in the seafood department is the sole reason I shop there anymore. Sad. 1-star for the store but 5-stars for Stuart. read more

2.5* maybe? "Superstore" is pretty accurate for this location. This place is absolutely HUGE with an in-house optical, Wine Rack, florist, financial institution, Joe Fresh, pharmacy, card section, toys, beauty department, etc. etc. However, I think the sheer size of this place is its downfall. It's so large that as a shopper, you feel anonymous. Hey, maybe that's what people prefer, but I like slightly cozier grocery shopping experience. After all, who wants to walk a football field to grab a carton of milk? I'm not sure if it was the time in which I visited, on a Saturday just before dinner time, but this place was pretty empty. So that's sort of a bonus, right? Anyway, I also noticed that quite a few items did not have the price listed, plus there were some misplaced items. If you're unfamiliar with the layout, finding something specific can be a bit overwhelming/slightly frustrating. There could be some good deals though...if you're able to find them! read more

A Great Place to Shop!! It's always the ease, convenience and accessibility of this place that makes us coming back. It has multiple brands under one roof, T&T, Arz, PC, Joe Fresh all together. It's spacious and well organized with lot of room for carts moving both ways. The produce section is very good and always fresh, no doubt the prices are comparatively higher for produce. The bakery section of this place is great, lot of varieties, including the Indian sweets and Baklava's and such as well. The rep also gave us a free cookie looking at the child. The amount of cakes available to choose from were many, they also do customized cakes. The Joe Fresh here is not as big as others, so not much items to look through. Pharmacy, Holiday Section, Kids and Cosmetics are well stocked as well. From a cash perspective, there are self checkouts, the express and other checkouts are lesser in comparison, hence could be a little lineup. There's also a Food Bank at the end of Checkouts. All in All Enjoy shopping here every time !! read more

Not all that super! Years ago when this store opened we loved it. Loblaws was trying to take on Walmart. The store was a mini walmart and stacked up nicely. Sadly that dream failed. Modern consumers chase price and little else. Zoom forward a few years. This store has consistently had problems. They often rearrange the store so you can't find grocery items week in week out. Beware in the dairy area. They often do not check expiry dates on product. It's quite common to find expired dairy and bakery product on the shelves. Never shop here on a Sunday all of the specials are gone and the produce has been heavily picked over The prices in the computer are out of synch with their computer. I purchased Crispers that had a shelf price of 2 for $4. When I got home my receipt said $3.19 each this often happens to me. My biggest issue. This is a full price grocery store. So why do they expect me to bag my own groceries? If I wanted to bag my own groceries I'd go to No Frills and I'd pay 10 to 15 percent less. This place reminds me of Cost Co. in the sense that it is large and barren looking. When it first opened up it was just a large warehouse space filled with food stuffs. While it has become a little less austere, it sure ain't gettin' much prettier. If you're looking for a place to buy groceries, cheap clothing, electronics and various other crap then these places are good I suppose. You don't really have much of a choice when you live out in the burbs as big box stores rule the roost. If however you're the kind of person that isn't lazy/cheap then you might take the extra twenty minutes and drive around to separate places to buy the things you need. You know, like clothing at a clothing store, or bed linens at Walmart. Did you spot the double dig there? P.S. I hate these places. read more

This store doesn't rotate thier stock very well. Bread that grows mould after 2 days, rotten produce and refrozen meat. I refuse to shop there but my wife still does because they have products that she wants.... Basically this store is more concerned with selling lawn furniture than food. Once in a while, ok... but this happens quite often. And ps- I'm not wasting an hour of my time to return a $2 bag of rotten potatos. read more

This is the superstore in my new hood so it's basically my main shopping place. It's super gigantic so it can take some time to find stuff and the stock is fairly Inconsistent. Sometimes they'll have organic chicken, other times no. Same with certain types of fruits and veggies. If you go in the morning you'll have a great selection but it varies throughout the day. If you go in the evening, many things will be empty. Sometimes they put out really bad quality fruits and veg so be careful of what you're buying and check things like berries thoroughly. Occasionally they'll refuse to price match certain items if they feel that they're losing too large of a margin (usually things like cherries and watermelons). They do this until they realize people won't pay their full price and then price match it again. I wouldn't mind if they'd put up a sign by the item but you just end up finding out at the cash register. They have a massive joe fresh section as well as housewares so you can do more than just shop for food. There's also a fresh meat counter and a deli counter. As with any grocery store there are many pros and cons but I will continue to shop here read more

Most of my Superstore experience have been lousy except for this one. Perhaps it's because it's a stone throw away from the Loblaws HQ, but this Superstore is better than most Loblaws in my opinion. This place is very clean, well organized, well stocked, and has a crazy amount of selection. It also has a kitchen upstairs for birthday parties and lessons, a women's only Good Life, a huge Joe Fresh area, wine, optometrist, florist, and take out section. The take out is just ok. I find the Loblaws to be better. Their rotisserie chicken wasn't dry but just lacked flavour. They have a fish seafood section. Usually it's ok. I find T&T to be far superior but occasionally, I will buy frozen shrimp at good prices. The fresh produce here is the best out of all the Superstore I've been to. Good selection and quality. It's on par of better than most Loblaws. The butcher section isn't bad and you can find a lot of different cuts for fair prices. The organic and international food selection is amazing here. I can find all my T&T grocery list here now and at very comparable prices! I also buy a decent amount of organic items from this store. It has a wide selection for reasonable prices. I really like this particular Superstore. The cashier service can be lousy at times but the produce and selection makes up for it. read more

I used to like this store, but I will shop anywhere but here now. The last straw was the seemingly endless renovation, which made it difficult to find basic things in the store (they didnt put up signs to let people know where things were). But before that, I have had to return chicken over three times, as it was bad when I got it home and opened it to repackage it for the freezer. I finally figured out WHY the meat was bad - I went to the meat section to pick up chicken that was on sale, and it was in trays on skids waiting to be put out. So I walked the store for about 30 minutes, came back, and the same meat was sitting there unattended, and no one had even made a dent in putting it out. There must have been 7 or 8 large trays stacked high, and I imagine it would have taken a good 30 minutes to put it into the refrigerated display cases. Which means the chicken was out of refrigeration for at least an hour. No wonder the poultry I buy is bad! And the bagging thing - that is another irritant. When it is busy on a Saturday, would it hurt to have a few baggers on hand to help out? read more

Unlike the other reviewer, I enjoyed this store. I love shopping at little independent stores but as a dinner party thrower, I am a huge fan of the Presidents Choice affordable and elegant serving dishes and linens. These types of products only seem to be available at the Superstores. This store has a large Joe clothing section, a large pharmacy area, an electronics section and the regular but well-stocked grocery store. read more

overall i like the store and it has gone through an extreme makeover recently adding various products from all over the world but i have to take 2 stars away because you just don't care about the fresh produce aisle anymore! you need to bring back the fresh organic vegies or better yet clean out the rotten products and bring the fresh one out of storage !! read more
