despite the name of being a superstore (which one? if they mean Royal they mispelt it), it was not so big, really. a lot like a Real average to slightly big grocery store. they had most of the canadian cultural artifacts that we were looking for. not a lot of surprises, but ok. they had newspapers, and also one rag. takes amx, which is helpful. no beer at this location, but a nice LCBO across the parking lot. they have an ontario wine store inside, and as noted, a nice bathroom on the second floor. would go back or go to another store to see the world. read more

I have shopped at this store for many years and have noticed that this store on Louth street has been going downhill over the last few years. Employees are rude and not very helpful. I get the impression that the Employees don't want to be at work and that the customers are their personal enemies. PC Express was decent at the start but I have noticed the same "don't bother me " attitude from the Employees. Since it seems that the Employees are too wrapped up in themselves and not concerned about their customers I believe that I will take my business elsewhere until I notice a difference in their employees' attitude. read more

I have done the PC express shipping several times now during Covid 19. I have had many items forgotten and if I had not checked my receipt may not have noticed. Free gift! Ha! Have not recieved this once when my order has been far above the total to receive the free gift. Beware doing PC pickup here! read more

I love heading up to Zehrs on a day trip from Buffalo. They offer President's Choice brand items like All-Dressed potato chips (bbq, salt/vinegar and sour cream/onion mixed on every chip). I love the "Loaded" all-dressed b/c they are packed with flavor. In the 90's Tops, a NY grocery store chain, used to carry President's Choice as well. Real Canadian Superstore is like a giant Zehrs! It's huge! They have a great home goods section with killer deals right after Christmas. Great place to stock up on gifts for next year! I also love the variety of European goods! I found coffee for an Italian stove top coffee maker for 4.50 Canadian (like $3.25 USD). I usually have to pay $10 bag for that coffee in San Diego! They also have tons of Cadbury chocolate, Areo bars and Coffee Crisps! Def worth stopping in if you find yourself in St. Catherines! read more

This Real Canadian Superstore is located at 4th and Louth, across from Walmart. It is large, clean, and well stocked. I HIGHLY recommend the chocolate croissants. They're amazing. They have a giant wall of chocolate goodies by the self check out, very tempting. They have a lot of delicious Presidents Choice products like pizzas and ice creams (chocolate chip cookie dough being my favourite). They have some good sales sometimes on pop and soy milk. They sell Joe Fresh clothes here, though not the greatest selection. All in all I like this location, it is far less expensive than Zehrs at the Pen and I believe they offer a 10% student discount on Tuesdays as well. read more

This ain't no fake! This is THE REAL Canadian Superstore. Legit. As a broke student, every penny counts, especially when you are shopping for groceries. This is probably my favourite grocery store in all of St Catharines. Their bakery section is awesome, and as the beautiful Tasha D. already recommend: TRY THE CHOCOLATE CROISSANTS!! Oh man, they are so good, and a decent price too. This store is actually huge. What I like about it is that they have an upper floor where there are washrooms! So nice not to have to go through a hassle trying to find a washroom. There is also a Goodlife fitness on the upper floor, but it's for females only, so I can't judge. I guess it makes sense. . . work out then buy food afterwards so you don't feel guilty. Another thing I really like about this store is their floral section. They have a space dedicated just for flowers, and I've noticed the flowers I've bought here are better than any other store. Just ask Tasha. They are fresh, and are guaranteed to last at least 5 days! There is also a florist that will make custom bouquets for you and wrap them up. I was really relieved that this place sells nice flowers. It's important, you know? Especially during special occasions. Speaking of special occasions, they sometimes have crazy promotions going on here, such as NO TAX day!! Best store to shop at in these crazy times. This is a store where I've always felt at ease to browse. Good selection, especially for the organics/health isle. Appreciate the hours extended for people that have long work hours. read more
