I purchased the broker crash course. Have been trying to sign up for their course at the right time to ensure that I could get my money back in the event that I do not pass my broker exam. No one is responding to my requests to register for the classes online. Without the link for the webinar, I cant guarantee my money back. I even emailed to inquire about the study guides and information I should receive with my $400+ spend on this crash course and nothing.. no responses. They are still withholding my certificates. Can someone please help recommend a good attorney or firm so I can go after this company. They are trying to make me re-take the courses and buy it again when I already paid for these courses and successfully taken all 3 courses. They are telling me they lost my records. By law and according to the department of real estate, any school has to keep records of your transcripts. read more

I am very disappointed with the service lately they don't answer the phones or messages they only have one instructor and Web only nothing in person this is not what it used to be at all. Very sad! There were good instructors before that had really great examples and they had Weekday classes that works for our type of business do to open houses or showing home on weekends or plans. I purchased the in-person Salesperson Crash Course several weeks ago and received multiple reminder emails about what to bring and when to arrive. After driving over an hour from San Diego, I showed up--along with several other participants--to find the doors locked and no instructor present. There were no emails, phone calls, or text updates indicating that the class had been canceled. Since then, I've sent several emails and called both listed numbers multiple times without any response. The complete lack of communication and accountability is extremely disappointing. I regret spending $315 on this crash course. I took the Crash Course online, and it was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The quality is poor, especially for online students. The person handling the slides was completely disorganized because it's the same person responding online questions making it constantly behind or ahead of the instructor. It completely disrupted the learning process. The instructor lacked energy or engagement, often just reading off the slides with little explanation. Unless you already know the material very well, you won't gain much from this class. Even the instructor admitted that many in-person students were repeat attendees, which says a lot about the course's effectiveness. After taking the course, I failed the real estate exam. The company allowed me to retake the class, but the substitute instructor was a woman who openly criticized the materials during the session, saying the slides were "terrible" and admitting that she hadn't taught the real estate sales exam in over 10 years. That was the final red flag. I decided to reschedule my exam and requested to take the course again with a more qualified instructor. They denied my request. This is absolutely ridiculous. For such an expensive course, the level of professionalism and support is unacceptable. There are far better options out there. Save your time, money, and energy and look elsewhere to prepare for the real estate exam. read more

The service has declined over the years. There must only be one person working in the office. The phones get turned over to voicemail at 4:30 when the office hours are 8:30-5:00pm. The voicemail is full, by the way! The phones switch to one ring and continuous hold music as early as 8:45 am, leaving callers on hold for at least 10 minutes without any answer. I purchased the brokers exam crash course for $417 and was charged $424 for shipping when there aren't any items to ship; it's a live 3-day webinar and a "digital" e-book that I still haven't received via email. I passed Brokers Examination today (I was the first one to finish the test as well, thanks to RET) I took the Broker's Crash Course last month and scored 95-98% on all the Broker Computrainer Exams and Simulated State Exams. They were very helpful, however, the actual Broker's Examination is very crafty, wordy, and tremendously harder than all the Computrainer Practice and Simulated Exams. Here's where I went wrong-- I should've studied the hard copy Broker Prep Exams and the hard copy books. I strictly only studied from online Computrainer. I left the Exam room thinking I might've passed, but also maybe I might've failed. Regardless, it was my fault for not fully studying all the materials given by RET. Real Estate Trainers helped me pass my Sales Exam in 2005 after failing by myself the first time, and now helped me pass my Broker's Examination first try 25 years later. Thank you RET! I have been using Real Estate Trainers to pass both my CA Real Estate Salesperson license and subsequently my CA Real Estate Broker license for the past 20 years. I had tried to study with a cheaper course for my broker license and was completely LOST. I passed the Salesperson License and Broker License, both on the first try with the aid of Real Estate Trainer course and their computrainer. After agonizing over the Broker license with a cheaper course, I decided to just cough up the $ to purchase their exam prep (which is online now, it used to be in person for 2 days). I was late to the registration so they did not have time to mail me the course material. I drive to their offices in Anaheim, right by Angels Stadium. I was greeted by their staff, Rocio and Lance. They gave me all the course material. I had some words of encouragement from Lance , and I told him I took the Salesperson course in Culver City 20 years ago. He gave me some assurance that I would pass the test. Taking the class with Yvonne Agnew was both easy and convenient. She is clear and concise, getting all of the questions answered for the class. She was patient even with class attendees who were out of line lol. The format of the class itself was easy to follow, and all of the course material was easy to read and study. Definitely recommend RE Trainer's Crash Course to anyone taking the salesperson exam. I was extremely nervous for the exam and was recommended this crash course by two agents in a brokerage I was interviewing. I took the Tuesday-Thursday class with my exam scheduled for the following Thursday. At the end of the first day of class, I felt so much more confident about the material that I ended up moving up my exam date to that Friday! So, definitely take the crash course right before the exam so all the material is still fresh in your head. Lance, my instructor, was AWESOME. He explained the material in a way I was finally able to understand the concepts instead of just trying to memorize them like I did throughout my RE course. He's also very humorous which helped you stay awake and engaged throughout the class. I was able to answer some of the exam questions because I remembered the jokes he made that went with the concepts. You can tell he really knows what he's teaching and that he's actually invested in the success of ALL his students. He also gives a lot of helpful tips and advice for the day of the exam and on how to take it. I felt so prepared going into the exam, I really owe it all to Lance and RE Trainers. I think everyone needs to look at this post before you follow through with spending the money, I signed up for REtrainers broker exam crash course. They used to offer in person crash course and do not, I also payed to receive the text books and online training, the "textbooks" are printed out sheets of paper....as you can see I cant even use a highlighter to study because it bleeds through. I then use a pen and my pen indents also come through the next page. I am a Realtor with bad ADD and these things are distracting. The quality of the website is also so poorly put together and not helpful. Honestly pretty bummed, this is $400+ . I feel like they are completely cutting corners and do not have the best intentions in regards to the student. Too bad. Good luck to you all, I would suggest a different company. read more
