Great course overall would defintley reccommend. The instructors were all great and very helpful. One thing I will say though is that it can be very fast paced and so I do reccommend that you either buy their cram book or take out time to study your notes and textbook at home, or you can do both lol Also know that if you do buy their cram book, the questions in the cram book are actually more challenging than the test ones so if you manage to ace those, your testing will go smoothly lol. If you don't take the time to study and read things yourself, it can be a little difficult to keep up with all the info if it's very new to you, but with a little of your own effort and of course the help provided in this course, you can pass as well! Keep in mind that a very big part of this course is how much you put into it, because of the way the classes can be set up, you may start with another more advanced chapter and so it can add a lot more to the confusion. Each instructor has their own style of teaching, which does help to keep things more interesting lol. Overall it's a great course to take, had much fun in class lol. read more

I was laid off from my previous job. I always had a desire to get into real estate and I came across this class. Luckily there was a groupon deal that made this into a real bargain. The Adria Hotel where this Queens class takes place is a good hotel. Free parking lot available and if spaces run out - which they do on rare occasions, there is plenty of street parking around the corner. The Real Estate class itself was great. The 20 classes, (2 per day - morning/afternoon) consisted of a rotation of about 6 instructors. Which was great as each instructor was able to give his/hers insights, tips, and advice. There will be 2 test to pass. One by the this Real Estate company and the other by the NY DOS (Dept of State). The DOS salesperson ($15) is backed up about a month, so its advised to schedule the test before taking the actual class - unless you want/need the additional time to study. I am happy to say that I passed both tests and will start practicing real estate soon. I highly recommend NYREI as a real estate training class. Good luck to all if you chose this route!!! read more

The NYREI branch in bayside queens was great. I had the opportunity to interact with two of their locations (manhattan and queens) and each had their advantages. The queens location is very convenient and offer a faster pace for the 75hr salesperson course. You can finish it in 2 weeks if you are willing to go 9-5 from tuesday to saturday. They have instructors from various fields relating to real estate to teach the course (title company, mortgage officers, doctorate from other university). Two major differences between manhattan and queens branch are the ability to find PARKING SPACE and RECRUITING SESSIONS. Queens branch provide amble parking space in the area unlike manhattan branch. However, the manhattan branch does have random recruiting officers from various company coming in to do recruitment. Really like to thank Donald Lincoln for answering some of my personal questions in real estate and for proctoring the school exam. I give this course a 5-star rating and thumbs up for the quality and effectiveness of the program! I have been out of school for a few years and the program was easy to follow and the instructors all have an effective routine in place so that the students can follow along at a reasonable pace. There is a lot of content to cover, but the instructors were very knowledgeable, took the time to answer questions and gave life examples, as well as made the material very interesting. Instructors Nancy Mosca, Richard Lovell, Esq., Steve Landfield and Dr. Conrad Richards were all excellent at engaging the students. They each brought a different perspective to learning with their unique and varying backgrounds. I absolutely loved the Real Estate course provided by the NYREI at the Queens location which is held at the Adria Hotel. The goal of this course is to help everyone pass the school test and the state mandated test in order to obtain your salespersons license. We are provided with professors who live, work, know, and understand the business in more ways than others. They know exactly what's on the test and will tell you exactly what to study in order to pass. All of the professors are excellent!! They connect with you on such a professional level yet make the course fun and simple enough for you to understand each and every aspect of real estate, which let me tell you, is not easy... The professors that stuck out the most for me are Donald Lincoln, Nancy Mosca and Conrad Richards. All of the teachers & staff at this location in Queens & in Manhattan were excellent. They all took time to explain any questions I had before, during & after class. The teachers would break the information down to a point that I understood the material. I passed the school & state tests my first time. The state test was harder than the school test for me. I had the mid average amount of math questions, which was easy. I was started & finished with the school & the 2 tests in 28 days. It took about a week or a little over a week to get my state test results. I will recommend this school to anyone who is looking to get into this field. I would also recommend taking the school & state test prep classes that they offer in Manhattan so you don't get overwhelmed with to much information before test time. I took this course in Bayside, Queens. I was impressed by the knowledge and years of experience of everyone teaching the course. Dr Conrad Richards and Nancy Mosca are great getting the point across by making the class fun and at the same time give you real life example from their years in the business. The time sure flies when taking the call with these teachers and make you want to go to class. I was able to pass the school exam the first try because they focus on key areas of study. All the teachers in the program are professional and they gave you their contact information so you could contact them years after finishing the course. I have attended the nyc location and the Bayside location and have to admit that Bill Plunkett at the syosset location is by far one of the best instructors I have ever had! His unique way of teaching has helped me tremendously to learn all the material necessary to obtain my real estate salesperson license ! He is also the Author of the real estate salesperson book! The amount of personal experience he has teaching this class and being out of the field is non like anyone I have met in the industry ! My family is filled with real estate professionals and we can all agree Bill is someone we will all value for a lifetime!! Bill deserves an award and a raise!! Took the courses in BAYSIDE, QUEENS. All of the instructors had their own charming personality all the while being super informative and helpful. each of them made these classes a breeze, and explained every concept with examples to help us remember them more easily and to understand them. I didn't even realize I flew through the course but before I knew it- I passed the school exam yesterday with flying colors. All of the chapters have similar and repetitive concepts so when you learn a new chapter, it connects to old ones and helps you connect all the dots. Attended class in person at the Queens location. Easy to sign up and was promptly given a start date. I opted to use the fast track and complete the lessons in 10 days, going to 2 classes per day. The instructors were amazing and they each brought their own individual experiences to the table when going through the course topics. They prepare you well for the both the state test and the school test, highlighting important Topics, reiterating the ones that appear often and genuinely listening and addressing any questions or concerns you may have. I was able to pass the school exam on the first try and I'm currently waiting for the state results. I highly recommend this school. As a teacher myself, I would very much recommend this program. In order to be successful on the exams, make sure you purchase the book and ask many questions. Highlight the material that is emphasized during class and then read over the material on your own time. The instructors (especially Dr. Richard) were very helpful, but you have to be prepared to study the material. I would very much recommend this program over any online course simply because you have the ability to ask questions and engage with others. Like anything else, you have to be willing to do the work and put in the time. With that said, this was a very good program. I managed to pass both exams on the first try and am on my way! I want to say that my experience there was superb, as a family man and just being an all around busy person I was extremely pleased with the amount of flexibility that was available. The instructors gave such informative classes and I was able to pass the class test on my first attempt. I was very happy that I made the choice to sign up with nyrei and attend my classes at the Bayside Queens location. Parking was good. Donna was very helpful at registering and giving guidance at the main desk. I must say the teachers were great and very friendly. There is a teacher Nancy she was the best teacher hands down. I highly recommend this to anyone. Best of all I was able to purchase through Groupon and saved tons of money by doing so. This is one of the best decisions I have made. I thought this was going to be difficult but I managed to get the 75 hours done in like 7 weeks even though you are allowed up to 4 months to complete. This Course was awesome!! I loved the various experiences each teacher offered. It was a great combination with the material and real examples. You also meet some great people while you are there so please make sure that you network and get contacts before the classes are over. Be engaged and ask as many questions as needed. Everyone is there to help and Donna was great at facilitating and answering all school related questions. I am so happy I took the course there!! Get there early, be alert and stay positive! My time with the Real Estate Training Center at Bayside has been an amazing experience. The staff members are magnificent. They catered to every question I had and didn't leave me with any open ended answers. The instructors made class an informative as well as entertaining experience. The instructors were pleased to give out their contact info. and answer any questions/curiosities that you have. The students that I've met were all motivated, knowledgeable, and as helpful as the instructors. I took the course under a two-week period. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. They would stay after class to answer any question about the class work and also help with any other inquiries. I feel they also explained everything in a crystal clear view. Although I had a chance to take the classes in the City or White Plains area I will travel from the Bronx to Queens just for the course because I read high recommendations on the Queens location.
