I found the store to be very soothing. I could have spent more time in here, but I was meeting up with friends for happy hour, so I had to cut my visit short. I kept trying to add more flavour with a dried up slice of lime that was on the plate. And the atmosphere of dogs running about fighting with each other didn't help when I tried to enjoy this bland meal. I want to support you but you continue to let me down. I should be able to get a nice breakfast for $22 buck. If you are vegan this is not the place to go as they didn't understand what this meant when I wanted them bowl vegan and gluten free. Wtf

I was in a frantic rush to get to my daughter's school musical and had grabbed a gorgeous bunch of roses with coloured baby's breath. The flowers had been sitting in a jar of water and the bottom half was unwrapped -- and this mattered, because we were giving them to one of the leads in the show who wouldn't finish performing until 9pm. It was only 5:45pm, so the flowers needed to stay hydrated for over three hours before they'd even be received. The in-store florist had already finished for the day and I had no idea what to do. Zeron, who was near the cashiers, came straight outside to help. He grabbed a freezer bag from the fruit section, added water, wrapped the stems in tissue paper, secured it all with a rubber band, then finished the whole thing beautifully with florist paper and a decorative tie. It was creative, practical and looked wonderful. He was calm, quick and genuinely kind the whole time. We made it to the show on time and the flowers were still perfectly fresh when presented after the performance. Zeron is exactly the kind of person who makes a local shop feel like community.
