I am severely dehydrated, in pain, and exhausted from the stomach virus I have and I needed a quick solution. As y'all know Germantown hospitals almost always require 6 hours in the waiting room so I was calling many urgent cares. The second time I called this place (on accident) the person on the phone said "Um you've already called here you're gonna have to go to the hospital nobody is going to give you fluids." In the meanest tone of voice then they hung up on me. Thanks a lot for the help as*hole I'm clearly miserable and seeking a solution. Just don't go here. They need to be run out of business so we can have a more effective place to go when we need help.

I am not one to go to the doctor unless I truly have a problem and even then I push it off. I had…read morebeen dealing with a problem for over a week before seeing dr. Bannister. I normally see dr Mann (she is fantastic) but due to the Labor Day weekend approaching she was not available. Dr bannister had no bedside manners whatsoever and to top it off there was no questions she asked prior to looking at the problem. Basically walked in, looked at it, and said she didn't see anything but will send me to another place so I can have more clarity. This pain has been hurting me for over a week. One breast had been hurting and swelling during this time frame. She said they looked normal and as I was looking down I could clearly see that wasn't the case. She laughed and said it maybe the case from my view but not where she was standing. I'm like okay. She feels around both and clearly the left one was hurting more bc I kept jumping in pain. She proceeds to tell me it's a hormone thing and it's normal. I restated that my concern was the fact that one is more swollen and painful and that I hadn't experienced this before. She laughed in my face stating, "your body is going to keep changing that's what hormones do". Laughing in a persons face about one's concerns isn't okay! This is why people like me push off our physical care. To be humiliated and disrespected is the last thing we should be worrying about when confronting our concerns. I left still not really understanding why one hurts and is swollen more than the other..... I left the same way I went in, not knowing anything and that's the most frustrating part.

Given that she works the front desk, you'd think otherwise. Last time I was in there, I was able to get her name. It's Shay, I'm not sure it's short for something but she makes it very hard to be a woman dealing with so many pregnancy emotions. Find a doctor that you feel comfortable with and that listens to your concerns. West Clinic has some of the best doctors ,medical staff and volunteers around. If something feels off or wrong , male or female contact your physician, if they do nothing then get a second opinion. I would certainly recommend this place for anyone that's looking for experienced quality care.
