I chose OG bc of the great reviews (thanks yelp!) Before going in I was actually nervous and a bit ashamed bc as an adult I have know idea about taxes yet I decided to elect as an S-Corp lol. Then I finally came in & was seen by Eli. Here are some highlights of my experience: Eli is very knowledgable and is able to explain everything easily so that people like me who feel like taxes are a foreign language can understand. I came in assuming I was going to owe so much bc I had no idea what I was doing or how taxes even worked.. but Eli answered all of my questions with patience even though I know I was probably asking the same question over & over lol. Now for 2019 I will not be stressed! Eli also shed some light on things I had no idea about like how putting money in an IRA can really help to save on how much I owe in taxes, and how I need to go ahead & pay estimated taxes twice a year, and other business related matters that as business owner i needed to know & did NOT beforehand. Before your appointment they give you this great "tax planner".. it pretty much lists out everything that you can & should be writing off on your taxes & allows you to put in the totals. This was so helpful.. it really helps you organize everything.
