My home was f*cked up; but Lovella and Melissa from Real World Cleaning Services thoroughly un-f*cked it. I have a small apartment and, Holy Christ, was it disgusting. I requested a deep clean, and that's what I received. They did such an amazing job that I am mostly speechless (a miracle in and of itself), but find myself uttering "Wow," out loud when I notice another area that they meticulously cleaned. It has been less than 24 hours since my home was cleaned and I can already notice a significant improvement in my mental well-being. I think that the cost for the deep clean was money well-spent and I have scheduled bi-weekly housekeeping. I am looking forward to finally having a living space that feels like one - and that I can invite others into. The entire process from initial contact for a quote until I met Lovella at the door (unfortunately, I did not meet Melissa) was professional, courteous, transparent, and even comforting. It's not easy to admit that you've f*cked up your living space and need help to un-f*ck it. I'm glad that I did. For reference, I live in the Central Columbus area (South Linden). Had my first cleaning and it was ok. Customer service called to see how things went. I told them it could have been better but no complaints really. HERE why I am rating 1 star: After our call and thinking we hung up, I could still hear the lady talking in the background talking to a man and the disgusting things they said about me and other clients was so disturbing. worst thing I heard was some real awful stuff about Mexican labor costing less than US citizens to "get these annoying customers cleaned for cheaper". never again!!! read more

We used the Dayton location andwere very pleased with the customer service on the front end. Graciously dealt with our not being in the house yet and utility issues, but then we were very disappointed with the cleaning service provided. It looks clean in their "after" photos, but they must have been using very dirty water to mop because the floors were sticky and left our feet black since day one. I have photos of black streaks on hardwoods and of years of dust build up on the edge of carpets from the previous owners. Because of the move in chaos and double booked wedding weekends, requesting a remedy to the situation slipped down my to do list for a week and a half and I received none of the grace and quality customer service from the beginning our transaction. I wish I could un-give our tips and I would definitely not recommend trusting them to clean your house, especially without you in it for quality control. read more

I would recommend not using this service. I honestly don't even know what they did for 3 hours!! So now I'm going to be charged an outrageous amount for nothing and I have to go back through to do what they were supposed to do. I asked for a move in deep cleaning and got nothing! We recently had Real World Cleaning come do the "move in" clean to our empty house. We were out of town and wanted to get our new house cleaned so that we could get started painting right away when we returned. The upfront interaction with Real World Cleaning Services, scheduling and coordinating, was really easy and great. But after getting home, we realized that many things were not cleaned well or even at all in places. There were a few long spider webs from fans to blinds and in corners, blinds were all dusty, baseboards and registers were dusty, the hardwood floors had some things not swept up, cabinets needed cleaned again. There were some other things like windows that weren't cleaned but I don't know if that was supposed to be done with my package. I was offered to have someone come back out but we had to just clean the areas ourselves because we are really in a time crunch. We were offered an apology but no refund of any type. I would not recommend using this company if you were on a tight timeline or need a guaranteed flawless job. I'm sure many of their employees there would do an amazing job. I can only speak to the experience I had. Pros: The up front interaction was lovely, cost was good if they had done what was agreed upon. read more

The two ladies showed up on time. They were very nice. My house is very clean now. They had a heckuva time cleaning up all of the cat fur off all the carpets and all the furniture. And now my house looks clean and lovely. I will be having them back in two weeks to clean again right before my wedding. read more

I got a Groupon for 4 hours of cleaning. Listen, I understand I only have a 2 bedroom townhouse, but this place shines like when we first moved in. It's spotless. We had champagne glasses from a New Years party out because we hadn't cleaned them up yet (not expecting them to clean them) and even those were washed and drying. Our shower was s bit rough after not having giving it much attention in a while and it looks brand new. I have nothing to complain about. Great deal and would definitely have them clean again. Randi cleaned one of my rental houses in Columbus for me when another cleaner did not show up. She saved me last minute and did a fantastic job cleaning and she moved super fast too. I cannot say enough how much she saved me. I was sure I was going to lose the tenant when I showed up and it had not been cleaned and my tenant was due in 5 hours but Randi got there in less than an hour and cleaned the entire place in time. read more

I received a gift card for their cleaning services while my son was in the NICU so decided to give this company a chance. 3 women came to my house to clean. After I paid (the gift card was for $50 so I paid another $60 on top of that) and tipped for their cleaning services, I noticed that they did not bother to take out my kitchen trash, didn't wipe off my dining room table and didn't dust in the living room. These are all things I would assume to be pretty standard with cleaning services as I've had my house professionally cleaned before and these things were done. I received a call a couple of days later to see how the cleaning went and I made them aware of these things. The lady I spoke with informed me that someone would be in touch with me ASAP as it was concerning to her that they missed so much in their cleaning.
