Communication was consistently prompt and professional, tenant issues were handled quickly, and owner distributions were always on time. When we decided to sell the home, they were just as helpful. These people are a joke . give you a credit because you got a dirty house and then they charge you it when you move out . Take them forever to fix things and then they charge you a 75.00 when you put a work order ( which they never tell you about ). If your moving out they will show the house while still living in the home. Listed my house with the company. Thank goodness I was able to cancel the contract without paying their ridiculous $1500 cancellation fee. I had written a horrible review of this business, which in my opinion was well deserved. From the agent to the owner, neither cared about their customer. Their owner was actually verbally abusive to me as I attempted to be removed from the 6 month contract (please ask your realtor how long the contract is and don't assume it is the standard 90 days) from what I considered to be a very lazy and cheap agent. When trying to see your home, you do not wan a cheap agent who chooses not so spend any money on marketing. What finally got me to write this review is the discovery that the agent was able to call the person who referred us. This person lives in California, not Florida. The agent knew of my discontent with her services and she decided t avoid me instead of talking with me. Of course she made excuses why she didn't have the time to meet with me to discuss, but she did have time to call someone in California about me and ask what she was doing wrong. If she would have called me to ask that question instead of someone 3,000 miles away, she might still have our listing. I am thankful she does not have my listing. She may have 15 years of experience, but in my opinion she doesn't know how to market/sell a house. Now regarding the verbally abusive owner of this business ... my only recommendation is to stay away from his multiple lake county offices. He claims this was one of his better agents and he was very rude, attacking, insulting, and abrasive on the phone with me. From my position, neither he nor the agent really cared about their lack of professionalism when it came to selling my house. Wish there was something much less than one star. read more

Some close friends of mine recommended an agent, Mary Thompson, from this company to assist me in helping me find a home in the Central Florida area. I was a New Yorker who didn't know much about the area in detail and was looking at a retirement date 1-2 years away. Mary was most patient with me, met with me each and every time that I came down to the area and ALWAYS made time for me. She was able to answer all questions and in a quiet, professional manner, taught me a lot without being aggressive. I always felt that my interests and desires were her only concern. I am now an ex-New Yorker in a home that I love, thanks in no small part to Mary. The first day that we saw homes in the area that I was interested in I found where I wanted to live. Never do business with these people in selling your home or allow them to rent your home for you. They will treat your tenants horrible and their customer service skills need some serious work. I would never allow them to sell my home or represent me in renting my home. I will make sure everyone I know never does business with Exit. One star is generous. My wife and I were trying to find a place in Orlando and found a great house in independence in winter garden. The house was managed by this company and we had a problem from the first email reply we got. The lady, Zoreena, was very rude and condescending. Once we got approved we figured it would be smooth sailing, however when we wanted to dispute some things in the lease and make MINOR changes, they denied us. After dealing with the rudeness and seemingly careless attitude, we were glad to be not dealing with them anymore. You would figure a realty company would try to GET your business instead of shoo you away. read more

Harvey Rosenberg is a slumlord he Is a rude, pompous jerk that lacks professionalism i don't know how the girls in the office can sleep at night working for an animal like him. our rent we pay -the only thing we are guilty of is complaining about Broken things that need repair. This property managment team is the absolute worse!!! There lies are the strength of a hurricane ! They promise one thing and do another ! They will tell you there inspections have been done and completed, when they have hardly taken there time to inspect your property! They allowed a tentant to install satellite dishes and then tell you they didn't notice them ! A complete lie ! They said my newly planted oak trees looked great when in fact they were dead. My oven was completely ruined, my back sliding door broken,my carpet destroyed, but there quarterly inspections showed everything was just fine ! Another lie !!! The renters left two months early without paying and of course they took there fees leaving me with next to nothing.. Please believe me when I tell you they don't care about your property ! I will do everything possible to make my voice heard so others don't make the same mistake as I did in using this business! They should be inspected and shutdown by the better business bureau ! Went to go see a rental property they had listed. It was in TERRIBLE shape. Needed all new appliances, ripped up stained carpet, broken screen door, lawn maintenance that was included hadn't been done in a LONG time. When we pointed one of the broken items out, we get the response "I remember that being broken last year when I showed this house". As nice as the guy was it was excuse after excuse about everything that was wrong with the property and who was responsible in fixing them. He finally told us he didn't know anything about the property he was just there to show us around and give us the application information. The carpets were filthy and when we asked if they get the carpets shampooed, it was followed by "it's just a basic cleaning service that comes out". It sucks that the actual house itself and neighborhood is so perfect, but we refuse to buy our own appliances or work with a property non management company who is willing to let their properties fall apart like that. I feel sorry for the owners of these rentals. Standards people. Standards! read more

I want to give praise where it is due to the people of Exit Realty Professionals Elite. While I was a tenant in one of their rentals, they were consummate professionals (especially Trista and Lavonte!) and when my husband and I relocated and bought our current home, the process of breaking our lease was seamless and there were no unnecessary or incessant fees that accumulated- we really appreciated that. I did receive a Collections notice in the mail (10 months after moving) and it was resolved within MINUTES by Yalonda. The only reason I did not give all 5 stars is because the people who answer the phone could use a lesson in customer service, but that does not take away from my great experience with both of the Rosenberg's this morning. I had a 6 month listing for my golf course home with this company and they were unsuccessful in selling it. They seem to care more about the Property Management side of the business than selling a $300K house. When several rentals became available, my agent's voice mailbox filled up with inquiries and no one could leave a message. I have firsthand knowledge that this happened at least 3 times within a 2 week period during my contract. I'll never know how many inquiry calls about my house were missed. They would not release me from the contract. They did not have a "golf course lot" sign available when I requested it be placed on their for sale sign in my yard. The agent was told I was having roof work done and she sent me a badgering email accusing me of not disclosing it to her. The house was my neighbor's house, not mine. She didn't even bother to check. Exit Realty and the Harvey Rosenberg Family who operates it "diverts" collected rent monies due owners, delays work orders, is extremely tough on tenants and attempts to sabotage owners' relationships with banks in order to obtain short sales commissions of 8% or more. They manipulate out of contracts and refuse to release monies due property owners. They have moved multiple times in a short period of time (4 in less than 7 years) and law suites fly between them and their former landlords. They will attempt to charge you 'termination fees' even when homes are given back to banks or foreclosed on. Do not do business with Exit of Clermont or your monies will exit your pockets. read more

STAY AWAY!! Their GROSS lack of professionalism and rude treatment is unmatched. I called to view a property they have listed for lease and an appointment was scheduled. I got a call back less than an hour before the appointment to say they needed to cancel because there was an accepted application on the property. Ok.. THEN the phone rings AGAIN literally 2 minutes later and he says "never mind, their application was denied, so we can still show you the home" I SPECIFICALLY asked if there was any code needed for the gated community, because I am familiar with it and know its normally needed. "Uhm... uhh... let me see.... uhm... NOPE! No code is needed, so see you there" When we arrived, the gate was locked, no one called us or met us there to let us in, etc. We sat and waited for almost 10 minutes before following a random resident into the community and making our way to the home to see it. As we sat at the gate waiting to get in (the ONLY GATE) several cars left the community and it was daylight so they could see us sitting there. When we arrived, I called Harvey because his number was on the sign and no one was there waiting on us. He was a little short and snide in tone but I ignored it, told me to just wait because someone (a lady) was on her way to let us in, she didn't have a code either and had to wait like we did. (HOW UNPROFESSIONAL - HOW are YOU the property manager and you have no access to the property?!?) So we waited another 30 MINUTES and still no one shows. Walked outside of property to find it in bad condition from the outside, grass overgrown in the back, screens knocked out in the pool area and a huge FALCON looking bird trapped and fighting to get out of it, it was gross and spooky. Call Harvey who flippantly told me to call the lady who was supposed to meet us (his agent) and gave me her number. I did call her and she BLAMED US for BEING LATE & said she was too busy to come back!!!! SHE KNEW WE DID NOT HAVE A CODE TO GET IN AND HAD TO HAVE DRIVEN PAST US SITTING AT THE GATE WHEN SHE LEFT what 10 MINUTES after the scheduled appointment time?!? RIDICULOUS! When I tried to POLITELY and PROFESSIONALLY bring it to Harvey's attention, he began a stream of distasteful, smarty pants texts back and forth with me on how its basically not his problem. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If this is how they treat you when they are supposed to making a good first impression imagine how they are after they have your money! HORRIBLE! I feel bad for the owner of the property because they have no idea how badly their property is being represented. It is STILL sitting empty and unleased weeks later in an aggressive rental market... GEE wonder WHY!?! The people in this office are beyond rude. They do not seem to value business at all. Good luck dealing with them if you want to rent a property. They speak to you like you are bothering them (they are listing the houses for rent - are prospective renters not supposed to call off their signs????) and then do not ever want to schedule an appointment with you to see the house. They are annoyed if you ask a question (like- horrors!- how many bedrooms it has or when it is available) and totally unprofessional. Not sure what the problem is here but would never rent from them. No one in this place knows what the hell they are doing. My agent (who works for a different company) took me out to see a house for rent in late July, and after a few days of debating, we were told by person #1 that the house was, indeed, still available and no one else had applied for it. The listing agent on the property was "Harvey Rosenberg". Paperwork began on August 1st (Thursday). On Friday, my agent was called by a woman named Pat and was asked when I wanted to move in. The weekend goes by and no word from anyone (they have a 72 hour maximum policy, according to their own paperwork, about replying to applications. Does not stipulate weekends, holidays, etc...). Monday, we were informed that, because there was another adult over the age of 18 who would be living in the house, they needed an additional application filled out AND an additional 50.00 for the fee. Tuesday I brought my agent all the paperwork and the 50.00. Wednesday she sent them all my information. On Friday, we still had not heard anything, so I called personally. Person #2 said no one was in the office who could handle properties at that time. A friend of mine called about 10 minutes later and asked about the same property I had applied for, and asked if it was still available. A man named Joe (who apparently is a property manager) told him that, yes, it was still available and that there were no applications pending at that time. I called back after hearing this, and spoke to person #3. She seemed shocked when I told her what my friend had heard from Joe (she'd tried to blame the lack of knowledge on the other secretary, the one I'd first spoken to), and said she'd call me back. This same woman called me back an hour later and told me I was second in line for the house, and that the first applicants had until Monday to deliver a deposit. Finally, a woman named Sabrina Gass got back with my agent. She angrily told my agent that SHE was the only agent on the property, and that we were second in line because she had another application, and bitched about "not getting the additional 50.00" from me, which had been sent through their automated system via their website. My agent faxed over the receipt twice to them, and emailed and called them multiple times to ask if it had been received, but Sabrina couldn't be bothered to return the emails or phone calls. We were also told by Sabrina that "No one would have told you they had until Monday to deliver the deposit, they have until WEDNESDAY." This would be Wednesday August 14th, a full 2 weeks after the initial application. Finally, Wednesday night at 6:30pm, Sabrina called my agent back and, again, said she'd never gotten the additional 50.00 from me, but it didn't matter anyway because the other applicants came in and dropped off the deposit. She then proceeded to tell my agent she could come in and pick up my application fees in person, because "they don't write refund checks". During this entire time, the listing was updated daily on Hotpads.com (I have screengrabs to prove this), never listed on any rental website it was on (and there were several) that it was temporarily unavailable or even pending, and they were scheduling additional viewings. After all this, the fact that they call themselves "ELITE PROFESSIONALS" is the biggest joke of them all. I mean, I can call myself Queen of Mars, but just giving myself that title doesn't make it true. In their case, it's beyond a lie. Stay away from this business if you value your money and your sanity. They have no integrity! I rented a home that they were managing and after 2 years I decided to leave. Before I left I took a video as I walked through the property to have evidence that I had left everything in working order and clean. I also did a walk through with the lady in charge of property management named Trista. I got a confirmation from her that everything was good while we did the walk through. A week later I get a $300 deduction from my security deposit. They claimed that I had left the pool area dirty and they had to power wash the area. They also said that one of the stove burners was not working. They charged this even though I have video evidence that showed that everything was clean and the appliances were in working order. The owners and the people who work in this real estate are unprofessional, dishonest, incompetent, arrogant, hostile (you get the picture, any adjective that describes bad pretty much sums it up). They changed their name from Exit Professional Realty to Realty Professionals of Florida but their modus operandi remains the same. Stay away! read more

We are current renters from this rental agency. Never again! I wonder if the home owners actually know what they do. We were warned against this agency but we needed a rent quickly and this house was available. We moved from out of state to start a new job and needed a house in this area right away and there was not much available. We didn't want to buy until we were down here for a year and see if we liked this area. When you call Trish in the office that something is wrong at the house she tells you to file a maintenance request and then proceeds to charge you $75. The contractors that they send to do the repairs do not do the best job. I would not be happy with the quality of work if this was my house. I will never submit a maintenance request again. I will let things be until my contract is up and I buy my own house. We will also be getting ahold of the owners of this house once our contract is up and let them know some things I am sure they had no idea about. I have been a homeowner all my life until I moved to Florida and I would be so unhappy with a rental company like this. I presently own a house in Port Charlotte that we rent out. We have never experienced anything like this. If something breaks, the tenant calls and we get it repaired. We have been in this house for 4 months and the sink faucet wore out, the garage door spring broke, the lawn people (who is one of their contractors) broke a sprinkler head and they tried to blame us by saying my husbands truck tire was a little off the driveway. The sprinkler head that was broken was under a hedge right up against the house. They sent someone to fix the automated sprinkler system twice and it still does not work correctly. There are a few other things that need to be fixed at this house, but I am not going to report it. I actually feel bad for the home owners. I hear from the neighbor that they are very nice people. Looking forward to when I am out of this contract and can contact them. Do not use this agency for any of your rental or home buying needs. I know we won't in the future. read more
