He negotiated our home at our budget and even got the closing costs to be COMPLETELY covered -- we were actually paid a large sum of money at closing when we got the home with NO money out of pocket. This man was on top of everything -- he was an amazing asset to this process. My wife and I felt confident and well informed. In the midst of the home buying process, my wife had our first baby and Steven sent us a card and gift card for our baby -- he didn't need to do that, but he is is a good man. My husband and I felt so disappointed to sell our house through Mathison-Klein Group in Clermont…read more Before we decided which Agency we went for, we interviewed a few big agencies, finally we chose Mathison-klein group because the agent shown professionalism and was presentable. It all went wrong after that. Our house had been at market for 2 and half months since mid of April and not even received 1 decent OFFER, it shown the price we set was wrong and the set price was encouraged by the agent. During that period, our agent never actively messaged us, only replied us when we had questions for her, mostly asking about what we could do to attract more potential buyers and her answer was always the same to lower the price. We even asked her to do Open House twice for us. Our agent had holiday at beginning of July and we were assigned another agent. The new agent seemed pretty helpful at the beginning. After week and a half, I told him if there's no decent offer, we may take our house off market for awhile and magically, he gave us a solid offer the next day. The buyer was the one he mentioned a week before with a really low offer, he said how solid this buyer was and would like to pay a little more, they even prepared a contract. So finally we accepted the price, then the truth came out. We found out this buyer was AN AGENCY too, he represented himself as own agent and our agent NOT EVEN MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I understand agents need to buy house too, BUT during the whole price negotiation, I felt so unfair to deal with an agent, they knew the market, so they pushed our selling price way lower than market price and I felt MY AGENT WAS HELPING THE BUYER TOO. I couldn't believe that. The whole process of selling house with Mathison-Klein Group, we never felt being helped by our 2 agents but pushing us to sell way below market price. I supposed to give 1 Star, I only give 2 Stars because of the business owner Brandie talked with me about the whole deal was done. Even it has passed over 3 months, my husband and I still feel angry about that. So please do second thought if you want to sell your house through them.

An expensive mistake to associate with this team…read more I assigned my beautiful lakefront property to this team also known as Pink Door Management, Scates Realty, team of Elaine Meyers and Claire Fryer. They were very sweet and responsive initially and tried very hard to sell me into their property management platform. Once it was signed they moved quickly and got a tenant in without consulting with me or doing proper make ready for the place. I quickly realized they had no interest in taking care of my property, instead they were interested in collecting the fee. Half way through the first lease I sent independent inspector to walk through as I was not getting the response I needed from their team. The inspection results worried me. I ended up cutting the lease short and giving a termination notice to the tenant and the property management team. Once they knew I was terminating they stopped responding to my emails or calls. When tenant moved out I -the house was left a disaster - multiple lease violations (smoking, driving on grass, oil and urine stains everywhere). Still in the process of trying to amend the situation...
