I have had multiple interactions with him discussing land sales and commercial property in Pittsboro and Apex and he is extremely knowledgeable. He is also an Accredited Land Consultant which is a rare find. This office is dual purpose- it houses "Realty World" which is Eric's, and also his land sale business "Eric Andrews Realtor" which specializes in acreage properties in central North Carolina. I expect him to stay very busy soon as Chatham Park begins to transform Pittsboro North Carolina. There will be a lot of land and property transactions taking place here in the near future and for years to come. Realty World handles more of their residential real estate listings and sales. Had the misfortune of completing a transaction with an agent from this office. Things went fine until we reached the repair negotiation phase of the transaction when everything became combative. In my opinion, the agent took our repair requests personally and felt as if we did not show ample appreciation for the amount of money the sellers had put into the house (despite the fact that our opening bid matched their asking price). The agent did not communicate certain seller requirements (such as continued residency after closing) at the start of negotiations (in fact, the agent didn't mention any of these requirements in the listing documentation) and, when we were advised of these requirements several weeks before closing, we pushed back because we didn't have enough time to accommodate their requests. At that time, the RWCP agent became argumentative towards our agent, dismissive of our position (despite the fact that the agent's own documentation disproved their claim) and, basically, in my opinion, unprofessional. And, for whatever this is worth, with regard to the upgrades that we were supposed to be grateful for ... many were done wrong and we have a lot of projects that need to be fixed. In fact, the first thing we had to do was to replace the conveyed washer and dryer because they didn't work and, when the new washer and dryer were installed, the installation tech said that the wiring was not up to code. So, now that it is all said and done, when we look to buy a new house in four or five years, we will not do business with this agent. To be clear, we would (very cautiously) consider an RWCP listed property but not one listed by this particular agent. read more

I called Realty World inquiring about a piece of land I was interested in buying. Right away, the front office sent multiple documents electronically. I have spoke with many other offices about properties but they were the only one to immediately send me information electronically in addition to answering all my questions. I then made an appointment to meet with a listing agent. That agent was Eric Andrews and he is a wealth of knowledge. His first question was, "What do you plan to do with this land?" I told him I was planning on building my home on it and later develop the rest of the land. He stopped me at the word develop and let me know the land wouldn't perc for the number of homes I wanted to build. At this point, it was obvious that I wasn't going to buy the land and a dollar wasn't going to be made off me. Instead of rushing me out, Eric attentively listened and answered my questions for another 30 min. He even shared other avenues of finding land to acquire that his office would not benefit from. I was also amazed at the details of specifications related to codes and zoning he has memorized. It was obvious he was at the top of the trade. In addition to all this, he sent me home with a packet of info on the process, including sample contracts and other resources I may use in the purchase of a large track of land. Eric was down to earth, easy to talk to, and professional all at the same time; which is a hard blend to find. I feel in debt to him for the info he shared about land and the logistics of purchasing land. When I do find the right property, I plan to use him as a buyers agent.
