That being said, I wish I knew about this place two years ago. They are one of the best, if not the best, utilities you can use if you are trying to start your own business. If you are unfamiliar with what these guys do, they focus on helping people start up their own business from the ground up. Their specialty is working with people starting a micro-business (less than 10 employees) but they do work with small business owners too. Their process starts with a 6 week class on how to write a business plan, where to get financing, how to pitch your business idea to investors, how to get up and running, how to manage through your first few years in business, and so much more. The class is quite worthwhile and you make a lot of good connections with others who are going through the same process as you. Some of them may even be beneficial for your own business. After you go through that class they help setting you up with needed faculties like CPAs, HR reps, marketing people, etc. Then they sit down one-on-one and work on how to go about getting financing. They offer some micro-loans up to $100K and some other grants as well. If you choose to go down that path then they review your request, set you up with actually talking to a loan officer and helping you with other items like a location for you store. Everyone I've worked with at ECDI has been very helpful and professional. They definitely are a great place to go to if you find yourself getting stuck on your business planning and don't know were to turn to next.

I walked into the office and said I'm sorry I forgot my mask, can I go back to my car? She said no masks needed. Her office is nice but small. I asked if she would wear a mask. I said I had a clean unused mask in my car and asked if she wanted one. She said 'I have masks here but I won't wear one.' Its hard to breathe with them on. I told her in that case I did not want to do business with her. Right now Coronavirus is resurgent in Ohio. I have asthma and was not willing to take the risk of being in a very small office for an extended time. I don't know how she does taxes, but I do know that at least in one way, she does not care for her customers.

Matt Milnor is my insurance agent and has always done a fantastic job with my policies that I have carried with him which have been car, motorcycle and renter's. I also plan to go to them to see what they can offer me as far as home insurance goes...that is...when I cross that bridge however. I did end up switching my car policy out only because I found a better price. Matt worked his rear off to try to find me a deal since I told him, "I like you guys so much so if you can find me a policy close to this, price wise, I'll keep my policy with you." Sadly he couldn't but the effort was outstanding and truly appreciative to know he had my best interest at hand. He understood so he still is my agent for motorcycle and renter's. They will be the first I'll check with for home insurance pricing as well. Matt has been nothing but amazing and always quick to get the job done accurately and efficiently. They cannot protect your important financial documents! I have been a customer for over 5 years and have assumed SP was doing everything the right way. When I was audited for unpaid taxes I was shocked, but assumed my tax resource would help me make sense of the significant amount of money owed. SP never answered or returned my phone calls. SP sent me an invoice to get documents required for the audit. In return, SP sent me someone elses W2! Instead of responding to her customer in a professional manner, SP resorted to petty and insulting email exchanges that never answered any of my questions. Unfortunately, another SP customer, my Wife, is dealing with the same audit issues and getting the same unprofessional treatment. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID, FIND SOMEONE ELSE FOR TAXES!
