In 2021, I received a chemical peel at this med spa that resulted in a SEVERE chemical burn to my back. The peel was performed by a front desk receptionist who was "in training," not a licensed or certified aesthetic provider. I later learned this occurred because no qualified provider was available at the time, and rather than rescheduling the service, the treatment was performed anyway. I was not informed that the individual performing the treatment was unlicensed, nor was appropriate supervision or medical oversight provided. The result was significant skin injury--second degree burns, as shown in photos taken during my visit at the BURN UNIT. This was not a post-chemical peel reaction -- it was a chemical burn. At the time, I did not fully understand the seriousness of what had occurred. As a nurse working in the field of aesthetics today, I now clearly recognize this as negligence and a breakdown in management, supervision, and patient safety standards. To this day, I'm still baffled by how this was handled afterwards. Beyond the physical injury, the lack of accountability and concern from management/owner during my recovery was deeply upsetting and added to the emotional toll of an already traumatic experience. I was told that you pay by area (my area was the flanks) and you get whatever number of cycles are needed to achieve your goal. I paid over $1500 for two trips to their office (two one hour sessions) to cool sculpt my flanks and on the day of my third scheduled appointment, I received a call, five hours before that appointment, informing me that I needed to pay for more of what they are again calling cycles to continue with the treatment. I have seen very little, if any, reduction of fat in my flanks In a nutshell, I paid $1537.04 for two hours of, at this point, ineffective coolsculpting on my flanks (love handles). Update: Ideal Image contacted me in response to my Yelp and BBB review and requested that I contact them to try and resolve my issue. I called this company today and they made no effort whatsoever to resolve this matter. They simply parroted over and over that you pay per cycle and that the number of sessions for coolsculpting on the flanks is limited to two sessions, in defiance of the fact that the selling point for me and what the sales person communicated to me, which was the only condition stated by the sales person to convince me to try cool sculpting a second time, is that you pay per area and that you get whatever number of sessions are needed per area of concern to reach your goal. Update2: I received a call from Lindsey who informed me that the person who I spoke with earlier that day misspoke. She assured me that I would get a third session and that they would reevaluate me at that appointment to determine how many sessions I would need after that session to reach my goal. She apologized and assured me that Ideal Image would honor the promise made to me by the sales person who sold me on coolsculpting. I am very happy that Ideal Image stepped up to honor their promise made to me and I am very impressed with the level of care and professionalism that I experienced with Lindsey.

The office is spotless and well organized. She does dermaplaning on me- with a surgeons skill! Yes, she scrapes my face with an angled scalpel. It does not hurt at all. She also works on blackheads or whatever might pop up in between visits. I go about every 4 to 6 weeks- was there yesterday- and an amazing job. My skin was glowing when I left. I also use a SkinCeutical Conditioning Solution twice a day which is wonderful. Robina has a small curated selection of skin care available, and is so pleasant to be around. Lastly, I feel it would be remiss not to mention the personal touch and genuine care that the staff has for each and every client. A few months ago, I had a personal emergency which left me without my cell phone, and I ended up "no-call, no-show-ing" two appointments in a row. Instead of blocking me from scheduling further appointments, both Kelsey and Lindsey showed immediate, unwavering care and concern and welcomed me back to my appointments as soon as I was able to make contact again. Of course, I hope such an incident never happens to anyone else, but many Med Spas that I know of would enforce a strict cancellation policy with no questions asked, but not here. When I come here, I know that I'm not only trusting my body with experts and professionals at their specialties, but trusting my overall wellbeing to a team that genuinely wants to see everyone look, feel, and achieve their best.
