Once the vanity was taken out at 10:30am it was clear that the pipes needed to be moved higher for the floating vanity. That's when I should have called my plumber. That's when he should have suggested that rather than attempting to cut the drywall and move the pipes on his own. After 10 or more trips back and forth to Home Depot and almost 11 hours of work I asked him to leave at around 9:30pm and called my plumber because he could not finish the job enough for us to turn our water back on.
