Fine. How do I pay I asked? "Ummmm..... well you can just send me your info in an emai.....l I guess....."WTF? okay..... No thanks, I will just pay in person when I come. When I arrived Renee wasn't there and apparently neither was anyone else who could process my payment. Not only that -they were not ready for my daughter either and suggested that I take off and that she "hang out" there for about an hour and half with them. She's 8!! ok...... Surely they mean that there are some other kids perhaps in the same situation and they have some activities planned for them or something along those lines. I quickly figured out that was not the case as I watched the instructors skip out to lunch. Since no else said anything else to me I decided to sit and wait with my daughter until they returned and made time for her....A few days later I checked my bank account only to find that school of rock had charged me double. #$%^&*(. And when I called and spoke with the owners Mike and Renee, they cheerfully responded with sarcasm and reassured me again that "WE DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!" AND just to make sure that I got the message Mike sent me a cheerful email..with all exclaimation points..that he PERSONALLY DOESN"T GIVE 2 SHITS!!! . My next issue with these assclowns. After talking to my daughter I realized she was not receiving the private lessons I was paying for....so I emailed the owners. Who again treated me with zero respect. Ok, i get it. You are in a prime buckhead location, making money hand over fist and DONT GIVE A SHIT but really...that's just not cool. I emailed Mike AGAIN for my refund and this time he didn't respond with all all excamation points!! hey! Christina! We don't give a shit!!! So maybe I will get my well deserved refund. In the meantime, all the instructors seem nice and my mini me likes coming here..which makes the fact that owners don't care about customer service all the more incredibly frustating.

I have had more than a few occasions where I need to put an audition on tape asap and get it out same day etc...we all know how it goes...and although there are several options for taping around town--I have found Compass to be the most professional by far. Every time I have emailed them regarding a same day appointment or a really tight deadline they respond to me within the hour (maximum!) That's pretty awesome when your under the gun. In addition to the super professional service, they are nice--genuinely so...helpful and actually care about your audition and your satisfaction. Add to this that Compass offers great rates, discounts for SAG actors and great deals for repeat customers and they get my business every time. The rep contacted for placement and did not tell us the student would arrive AFTER the first day of school. The agency rep also friended me on Facebook and solicited me for vacation packages (I guess she has a side business doing that). I complained to the company and they responded with zero resolution. I blocked the rep on Facebook but she is still assigned to us and no support has been offered by the agency to assist this student for school registration, etc. Host families are not paid (which we agreed to), but we receive little support as well apparently. I can only imagine how little help we will get if something goes wrong.

Our Area Representatives (we've had a couple as we have moved or they have moved) are in contact monthly and the few times we've had any issues (teens are teens no matter what country they are from lol) have been great at giving advice. I had the pleasure of returning to Core for a group Pilates session, with some friends. The…read morelocation is tucked away in the Buckhead area but I must warn you, you may pass it a couple times because the signage is not visible from the street and you may think you're in the wrong place because it's a shared building with other fitness facilities and offices. ***TIP*** If it's your first time, use your GPS and look for a parking garage on one side and building on the other. There's parking in the back but if that is full you can park in the garage next to the building. Once inside the facility you are really greeted with a sense of calm. It's is quiet and smells really good. The customer service is really friendly and our instructor, Kim, was absolutely AHHHMAZING! She was passionate but not in an aggressive way. She spoke with a big smile and was funny, engaging, and very knowledgeable. I appreciated her explaining the history of Pilates and how it really works and aligns the body. With all the pounding our bodies take from running and lifting, Pilates really helps to get your body in shape while taking good care of your body at the same time. I would definitely come again but it's not in my budget. I never knew Pilates was so expensive. It's like $90/session. YIKES. With Atlanta being a hub of fitness options I would choose to go somewhere else routinely, but would definitely put my coins together for a quarterly session at CORE. You get what you pay for here and that is superior quality service and fitness training!
