The osteo center was a great experience from the moment I walked in the facility. I received the "Myers Cocktail" and felt great. I have had daily migraines and neck pain for over four years and nothing seemed to be helping me…read more I went to multiple primary care doctors and all they could offer me was ibuprofen. Not only were my migraines so extreme that ibuprofen sometimes did not work but I also did not want to be on pills forever. I finally heard about prolo injections and decided to give it a try. I set up a consultation at the Osteopathic Center and Dr Kosubevsky provided me with all the information about prolo injections like how I will feel during and after the procedure and how long until I should see results. After the consultation I scheduled my appointment for a couple days later. During the injections Dr. Kosubevsky talked to me the entire time making sure I was not in too much pain and talked me through what he was doing. After my appointment the doctor called me multiple times to check in with me and see how I was feeling. 2 weeks later and my neck pain had completely vanished, it has been over 4months now and I have not had a single migraine. I highly recommend seeing Dr.Kosubevsky at the osteopathic center he was very nice and his work is amazing.

What can I say? Divine intervention, luck, right place, bad situation, and the right doctor…read more Usually here in Port St Lucie FL when you have a major illness you take two aspirin and call Jet Blue in order to go up north to seek medical attention. After being diagnosed with cancer, I needed immediate surgery - we're talking hours. A tumor had to be removed and a resection of my intestine needed to be executed (bad choice of words). Surgeons aren't known for their bedside manner. But I couldn't care less about that, what I wanted was the best. In walks the REAL Dr. K - smiling and talking to me as an old friend. I thought "No way can he be a good surgeon, he's too nice." Well I was right. He wasn't a good surgeon - he is a GREAT surgeon. He saved my life! This is not an exaggeration on any level. I am three years out from surgery and chemo - my scar is barely visible, and it's about 10" long. The professionalism of Dr. K is beyond anything I ever imagined - as a law enforcement officer, I came across some real "beauts". But Dr. K exemplifies what a person "wants" out of a surgeon. My life in the hands of a great surgeon that actually cares. My words do an injustice to Dr. K since I think he's more priceless than I have described. All I have to say is that "He's THE man" and there is no other surgeon I would choose outside Dr. K!

If you'd have asked me in the first six months of our experience with Dr. Talton's office, I'd have…read morerated her higher. Things went South around the time of Covid and proved to be too much for the Doctor after our annual meeting in early 2021. Let me start at the beginning... We moved to Martin County from Chicago in September of '19. Coming from an area with top teaching medical facilities and care we knew that we would struggle to find the same level of care and facilities. We made the decision to join a concierge medical practice in January of '20 for both the personal attention that they offer, as well as helping us find the various specialists that are needed by folks in their 50's and 60's with various preexisting "issues". I accepted this as "the cost of doing business" and knowingly also that nothing at the office is covered by our medical insurance. This is the case at all concierge physicians, though some offer most vaccines, some tests and even blood work. From our initial meeting, though pleasant enough, I got the feeling that Dr. Talton seemed put-off by simple questions regarding the local level of care and the communication between our PCP (her office) and the various other doctors which I see annually (neurologist, urologist, dermatologist, etc.). Her opinion of the Martin Health/Cleveland Clinic situation was bothersome, but she seemed to have valid reasons for her "leaving" their system and going out on her own. I'll give her credit for her referrals. They mostly seem to be very good specialists and for that I would thank her. The main issue here would be follow-up. On almost all appointments with specialists, there was no communication with our Primary Care doctor and the specialist. Many times, the referral was never sent and other times test results or opinions weren't shared. Dr. Talton would always blame the other practice for the lack of communication and follow up. It became predictable. The ongoing excuse was that it was a "Two Person Office" and that it was up to us as patients to follow-up and make sure that things were sent and/or received. Never was anything the fault of the Doctor or Colleen (her lone employee). Prescriptions weren't received, lab orders weren't received, referral calls and paperwork weren't received. Always the recipient's fault. Never Dr. Talton's or her "staff". In May of '20, my significant other had lung surgery in Miami. After being discharged and returning home, there was no communication between our PCP and the surgeon's office. None. I would have expected some sort of conversation, follow-up and concern. Two days after returning home, Caroline was experiencing some "issues", trouble breathing and discomfort. It was early COVID times and I had trouble communicating with the doctor's office in Miami and reached out to Dr. Talton numerous times. Though always available for a quick conversation, never did she offer any suggestions or input. At one point, I suggested a diagnosis and she said that I may be correct. The next morning, we went to the ER at Cleveland Clinic (Martin North). They rushed Caroline into the ER, and quickly inserted a tube into her as she had a collapsed lung. Doctors said that she was very lucky that she came in, as she could have died. She was in the hospital for four days. During those four days, the contact between Dr. Talton and the two of us was minimal. We got information when we asked and rarely proactively. When we spoke with her upon returning home, Dr. Talton casually informed me how lucky Caroline was that she went to the hospital and that she may have died if she didn't go. I wondered why she didn't tell me to take her in for the 36 hours that I was calling her about the discomfort which she was experiencing after surgery, I can't remember it ever being mentioned! We had many conversations regarding the lack of communication throughout our relationship with Dr. Talton. On her last appointment, when asking for clarification on some things, Caroline was told by Dr. Talton (verbatim),"If that's what you're looking for from a doctor, maybe you should move back to Chicago."! In my last meeting, after asking about my difficulty with communication, I was asked, "Who do you think I am, your secretary?"! Dr. Talton released us from our agreement after Q1 of this year. We were already looking to move on and were glad to go! BTW, after my last meeting she had put in a request for a full blood panel in May. I had it done at Quest and the results were forwarded to her office. I've printed it off and brought it over to my new Dr.'s offices. Do you think that Dr. Talton and "staff" would have forwarded it to my new doctor? Do you think that they would have emailed me or called to ask what I want them to do with it? Talk about a lack of professionalism and integrity! Oh, wait, what do I think she is... MY SECRETARY??
