He finished the 6-hour sessions and was very comfortable, to the degree that he asked me to go with him as he practiced his driving skills. His test was in December 2025, on a rainy day, during winter break. The two instructors were not available to take him to the test, so George, the owner, took my son to his test! My son passed on his first attempt and is now driving himself to and from school! Every text or phone call has been responded to within minutes! Same pricing or less than other local driving schools. I finally received a voicemail 40 minutes after the lesson was supposed to begin. The caller was obnoxious telling me they have a window of 45 minutes. It really would have been nice if we were told that before the instructor was late. I cancelled the final lesson and hired another local driving school. I cannot in good conscience rate any higher, because to put it simply, the instructor is a piece of work. It's hard to drive well when you're forced to listen to a bitter woman talk about some downright bigoted garbage for two hours straight. I'm white, so maybe she'd thought I would be on her side when she talked down to every other race. And she had the nerve to say she wasn't racist during my last session. It was exhausting, I was dreading every lesson after the first one. She loves the sound of her own voice, I would try to make conversation and she would just steer the topic back to herself and her story and her awful opinions. Even if I did happen to agree with her views, it's unprofessional how much she tried to talk politics with me. Well, talk politics at me, not with me. Request her son if you really want to go here, I have heard he's nothing like her and is actually pleasant to be around.

He knew it was my first time driving and made the experience feel safe and encouraging. On my third lesson, I was assigned an instructor named Johnny. From the start, he was aggressive sharply pointing out my mistakes and yelling when I had trouble changing gears. He kept telling me to go over the speed limit, even though there was a car very close in front of me, which felt unsafe. He also told me to keep looking up, but that made it difficult to see the speedometer, which only added to my stress. He would playfully punch my arm during the lesson, but it didn't feel appropriate and came across as unprofessional. Because of this experience, I didn't feel comfortable or supported during the lesson. It made me realize how important it is to have an instructor who is calm, respectful, and professional, especially when you're just starting out. If you decide to go through this driving school, I highly recommend asking for Tom and not Johnny!!
