Apple hill review…read more Would give apple hill 0 stars if I could! My family usually loves to build up others and their businesses, so this was very difficult to write. We sent our young daughter to Apple Hill and trusted the staff with our baby girl. However, I am heartbroken to say that she is about to turn 2 years old, and on her birthday will be littered with welts and bruises. It breaks my heart when we look back on photos of this milestone she is going to ask me "daddy why so I have so many injuries?" The staff at Apple Hill was not only condescending, but dismissive of our constant concerns of our daughters repeated injuries. (It also seemed the language barrier between us was something they heavily used to their advantage). I want to be very clear that I understand that toddlers are still learning to walk and are not always stable on their feet. I understand that sometimes babies do get hurt. But there is a difference between the occasional bump and scrape versus consistent and nearly constant injuries on a nearly daily basis. Not to mention, this facility should be baby proof! I expect if she falls she would be protected! Her injuries were constant. I had clients at my job questioning me as to why every time they saw my daughter she had a new injury. Some of these clients see my daughter once or twice a month! She was picked up 2-3 days in a row with new lumps on her head. The black eye she received has left a scar. Each time I look at it, I feel I failed her. The worst part was seeing my daughter so badly bruised, knowing the people that were supposed to protect her were the ones who couldn't give me any answers. When I asked for documentation, they had none when I asked for video they had none. They also suggested watching the live stream video from their lobby, but if I was able to sit and watch my daughter all day from their lobby, I would've had her in my home where I knew she would be safe. Instead, I was working to give her the best life possible. Instead of listening and trying to reassure us, they downplayed our feelings and tried to pass off some of these wounds as bug bites. However, after taking her to a doctor, it was confirmed they were welts and bruises and not bug bites. Sadly, I do not feel comfortable, leaving our daughter in their care anymore, as they had no idea what was going on with her. I fear I will never know if it was a staff member, another child, or unsafe facilities. I also learned many new things about this facility only after my concerns were brought to light, such as at the end of the day all ages of children are brought together, and the teachers couldn't explain how she got hurt which means they weren't watching her. I don't write this review to hurt them because tarnishes a reputation doesn't bring me joy, I write it to hopefully protect another child from injury.

They took 8 hours a day worth of subsidy money that I get for my child when he was only going 4 hours a week and still made us pay a copay. This place use to be good until they got new owners and now this place is a nightmare. They also keep all the kids in one class for a good part of the morning cause they don't have enough staff. So you have 2 year Olds with 4 and 5 year olds. I pray no body has to go through what we went through with my son. If they kept the childrem busy and not just sitting then maybe the children wouldnt get into things.

Finding the right place to take care of the most important person in you life isn't always easy, but we 100% made the right choice. The teachers are all amazing, Gloria, Sidney, Liz, everyone really. They are so loving, caring and involved with each child. Tina, the owner is so helpful and friendly. You really feel like family here. They even held a get together with bouncy house, food, etc. It was so great to meet the other teachers and parents. My daughter is happy to go there every morning and just lights up when she is dropped off (when was the last time you felt that way about "school?") and she even gets a little grumpy when she leaves. They take such good care of her and you can see the pure joy in all the kids from the photos they post. The facility is clean, convenient and well maintained. I honestly can't recommend them enough. Of all the places we looked this was the only one that truly felt "right."

A, B, Seas has a real familial feel. They took care of my son better than I could have hoped and that became even more clear when we moved away, and I had to put my son in a different daycare. The new daycare is good, but it doesn't hold a candle to A, B, Seas. The child to caretaker ratio is similar, and what they do with the children seems to be similar, but I can't put a price on the personal touch Tina uses in her business. We felt like part of the family, and I always felt like my son was truly cared for when he was there. It is a stressful thing to leave your child with people you don't really know (sometimes it's stressful to leave your child with people you do know).. If you have the opportunity to get your child into A, B, Seas - don't stress and don't hesitate. You will be happy you did.

Mind you it was only communicated on one single occasion at pick up that she had an accident. $5200 for the summer for two kids and I have to hear that my toddler is a health hazard. I explained again on the phone that she needs extra time on the potty and was told they were not able to accommodate that and refused to accommodate her. This is a THREE YEAR OLD CHILD. Completely disgusting treatment of my child and an absolutely disgusting approach regarding a pre-schooler's toilet training.

As a teacher myself, I'm quite particular when it comes to my daughter's education and TLE offers a great curricula that is taught in a fun, caring way that encourages students to grow. It was also refreshing that the curricula covered more than the basics...my daughter is an expert on charitable work as well, since each month a new charity is brought to life! Beyond the curricula, I must also emphasize that all the staff, especially the managers & teachers make sure that every child's needs are met. They were great with giving my daughter her inhaler and if I ever had any type of concern, they were responsive and proactive. I should also mention that my daughter loved visiting the playground or "Make Believe" each day. In the summer, waterplay was a lot of fun as well! More importantly he is recognizing numbers and all the colors. He's speaking in sentences. He's grown in leaps and bounds over these two months and I am sooo happy I placed him in this school. Our…read moreson truly enjoys his time spent there, most mornings he runs to the door to head to school to start his day after breakfast. The owner, Ms. Alisa, is amazing and takes the time to truly know each child and their parents. My son is comfortable with all of the staff and teachers. He has been learning so much, from language acquisition to social skills, he amazes me every day that he comes home. The Goddard on Route 70 goes above and beyond for students enrolled, this summer they even had a farm come to the site and bring animals and they often have a live musician come to sing with the kids! We are so happy with our experience at the Goddard on Route 70, I would highly recommend them.

Such a horribly run daycare. The director/owner (Jill) has no personal skills and no ideas about…read morechild development. She tells parents the kids need therapy when they are doing normal developmental behaviors. Instead of teaching the behaviors that should be used (ie not hitting, throwing toys) they punish the kids and make the kids feel like they are bad. She calls the parent of the child that got hit to pin the parent against other parents. When the daycare opened, the teachers were great and taught the kids. All those teachers left after the first year the school was opened. Now there is no learning and only playing. I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone!

Bloom Academy is by far the best daycare and preschool there is. It truly feels like our home away…read morefrom home. The owners along with the entire staff are such kind, special and highly qualified people who really do care and give individual attention to each child and their respective families. Bloom offers a challenging and motivating curriculum, fun activities that are age appropriate and flexible schedules. They also have additional, external services and activities conveniently offered to the children onsite (i.e. Speech, Dance and Amazing Athletes to name a few.). We highly recommend Bloom Academy to everyone and anyone. We will be sad to see our daughter graduate this upcoming school year but we will always cherish the moments and memories that Bloom has given us.
