I pulled my child out of camp before the summer end. The camp has a "strict" conduct policy on paper that is clearly not enforced by the camp counselors or the camp director. Several calls to the camp owner went unreturned. We also experienced theft of a few nominal items, after which we learned take nothing of value to camp with you. One kid was even caught red-handed with my child's toy (taken from his backpack), but not disciplined for the theft. There are lots of other options in Carroll county, I suggest finding an alternative to this place if you care about the safety of your child.

It's a great camp to get your kids outdoors, running around, swimming and playing with other children their age. Hundreds of kids from the area attend the camp and my kids always find friends from school and make many new friends while there. I honestly can't get passed the fact the kids have to sit on the floor to eat their lunch. I get that there may not be enough tables to accommodate a large number of children, but this is a paid camp. Why don't you invest in more tables or mats or something? Eating food sitting on the floor is highly unsanitary. Do you eat food sitting on the bare floor? I bet not. But, the camp counselors eat their lunches at the tables. Please change this practice; tables don't cost THAT much.

He spent time in the roosters and ponies classes. It's so clean, well staffed, decent staff retention, and I'm always wildly impressed with the behavior of the kids. My son has made a lot of adorable friendships. We've been obsessed with his teachers, especially Andrea, Kayla, Xhochilt, Mia, and Mackenzie. He's learned some Spanish, great classroom skills, and independence. Andrea has been there for 17 years which is so impressive to me. The communication with the admin is so fast and everyone always seems so chill. As someone who taught for 10 years, I find that to be incredible. That sense of peace really rubs off on the kids. They are a little pricier, but I think it's worth it. In the summer there is less consistency with the teachers because of vacations, but it is still well-staffed and they do so many events in the summer to make it extra special for the kids like tie dye, bubble shows, foam party, magicians, service dogs, bringing in reptiles, and musicians. On nice days they got outside 3 times a day. Their play areas are really nice. My son's favorite parts of the day were centers and playing in the sensory bins which changed daily. He came home with tons of art and meaningful knowledge about their weekly questions.

If you are looking for an in-person school field trip for students, do not choose Snapology…read more Snapology's concept is GREAT, but what was offered could have been of better quality and execution. Snapology is overpriced with subpar materials. For a minimum of 50 students, the school was charged $750, for any additional students the cost was $15 per add-on. Snapology was to arrive at the school for a noon setup with pre-k and kindergarten students participating in the building activity from 12:30-2 pm. Snapology sent two staff members who did not represent Snapology with joy and excitement. When the two young ladies arrived they came with two rolling carts with shoe box totes of legos. As I greeted them, I asked if there was anything I needed to do. They said I needed to place the students in groups of five so that they would be able to go to the 10 Lego stations. When we arrived at the GYM small stations were created on the floor (no tables were ever requested or suggested for this activity via Snapology). As the students came, I began to usher students into the GYM along with school staff members and parents with no direction from the Snapology team. We had NO clue what to DO! The two staff members never gave us an introduction, a greeting, or guidance to get STARTED! So teachers and parents started managing stations with students. About 10 min. into the activity, a rotation was supposed to take place (no timer to be heard, no communication between school staff and SNAPOLOGY. One Snapology member moving clockwise and another moving counterclockwise. Now children are CONFUSED! Now we have 50+ with no direction moving around excitedly. At this point, I decided to have students FREELY explore the stations! Before the activity was over, I noticed the staff members cleaning up. Wait a minute we still have 30 minutes! They put the earthquake machine away, 2 green Lego mats, and a Lego bin. I see one staff take a creation from a student's hands now I am annoyed. Now it's time to ask for clarity. I spoke to one of the staff members in the hallway and was less than excited with her response. This is an easy activity that can easily be executed at your school for a FRACTION OF THE COST! Buy Legos and connector place them inbins now you have SNAPOLOGY!
