Family owned business Black Female Owned Business…read more What more can you love about candles? I know, candle making classes paired with karaoke, fun, and amazing hosts! This is exactly the experience you'll have at ReWax and UnWine. First, Justine and Caleb, thank you so much for making this experience, memorable. Justine was simply personable and had a personality that lit up the room and made every guests feel welcome as she took the time to remember all of our names. In a packed room, that's impressive but it made the experience feel exclusive! Caleb added to the fun by supporting with our candle mixtures and hosted karaoke, we had a blasts! Ambiance: think of a cute cozy candle shop, but add lively colors, greenery, cute pink seats, and hues of gold to set the mood-STUNNING! Value: the public classes are $60 per person and come with a standard size candle and small 7ml tin candle. For an additional fee, you can upgrade to the 22ml, which I did. Trust me, it's worth every penny. The scent selections are very unique and if you need more convincing, my special guy enjoyed the selections of woodsy and bourbon scents because he was able to personalize it to tailor his taste while I went with warm & sweet scents. Public classes hold up to 18 people and you can rent out the space for a private event for up to 34 people. In addition to candle making, it's BYOB (wine or champagne) no outside snacks allowed for public classes but you can inquire more about your private class experience through the website. While our candles cooled off, the mics were turned on and guests had a blast singing, dancing, and cheering each other one. This place promotes Black excellences and supports inclusivity. It's a places where everyone is welcome because the thing we all share in common is a love for candles and music-what isn't to love about that! I cannot wait to return. So glad that I found this place.

My friend and I went to the last class that they offer, 9pm, and we ended up being the only two there and got the one on one treatment. Justine was great! She was so nice and helpful. She explained each step of the process and allowed me to take my time picking my scents. There were 50 scents to choose from. Included in the class was one small candle and one medium candle but they allow you to upgrade and mix and match. I upgraded my medium candle to the large candle for only $10 more. They also offer colors and other add ins such as flowers and jewel pieces to make your candle really unique. There is a lot of room for creativity here. While you wait for your candle to finish, you can do karaoke or just chill out and have a nice time. It's also BYOB. They have different events depending on the day of the week, so you can choose the vibe you're looking for. I really enjoyed myself and would love to come back or maybe even host a friend's night. They have a more private room that you can book too.

In the class, you create your very own masterpiece in a fun and interactive setting. The night starts with an in-depth demonstration on the potter's wheel, then you (and a partner, family, friends) get hands-on shaping and forming your own work of art. The best part? It's super affordable, and they provide wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks! If you're looking for a creative date night or just a fun way to unwind, this is it. Full . Anyway, I've never sat at a pottery wheel before but thanks to the incredible instruction facilitated by the small class size and the relaxed atmosphere I had a blast. And, bonus, my creations turned out pretty great, too! We'll see how they turn out after the firing and glazes. I had so much fun and was so encouraged by the experience I'm considering a membership to explore the hobby further. At the least I'll be taking more classes. Highly recommend the classes and studio to anyone and everyone. I'm the beginningest beginner possible and I couldn't have had a better time.

Outside of the class, the storefront is so nice and features beautiful woodwork, and custom tumblers, signs and local art/goods. When they open the physical space back up, you should quickly reserve a workshop to paint a wood sign. I had my bestie join me on my birthday and had such a great experience, wonderful instructors, quality materials, friendly staff and a beautiful store to craft in. Loved my finished product. I recently saw that they were offering a 1 hour online workshop with a guest speaker/ coach. The topic was about rest not being a luxury. With everything going on today, it was timely and on point. The coach dropped some gems during the first half, we were then able to ask questions via chat. After that, we started painting our signs with live follow the leader step by step instructions. The sign came in a nicely prepared box wrapped in lovely paper and was pre-stained. Also included were pots of paints of your chosen colors, a stencil transfer, paint brush, wooden flowers, small sponges for dabbing the paint on, and two recipes (face mask and a cocktail). The class was well moderated. The owner was streaming live from her home workshop with a really cool backdrop. This was well put together!!! My end product was amazing! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Looking forward to more workshops.

When I arrived, this mobile business transformed her space wonderfully. Our canvas, easel, paint palettes, brushes, etc. were nicely arranged. We were given aprons and ready to start our masterpiece. Natasha Fray, the owner and artist was effortless in navigating between various levels of skill. Her introduction and directions throughout the experience were clear. I felt at ease because when people had "oops" moments, she never panicked with us. As a matter of fact, she really didn't see mistakes because its art. She had a way of listening to the buy-in of the painter to help the painting reflect their vision. She could fix anything. I loved and stuck with the colors of our painting. However there were others who desired to use colors that matched their home decor. Natasha helped them mix the right colors to get the background they wanted. I was very pleased with my painting. It was Natasha who made it an experience. I highly recommend selecting the Loaded Canvas as your paint party host. *Side Note: This is a black owned business.
