We have been taking our animals here ever since we moved to the area (14 years). They also do super…read moregood with our pets!! We loved the environment when we first went, and never looked at another clinic.

Very rude and condescending people... and VERY expenseive. They charge $35 PER pet just to walk…read morein the place, and they DON'T disclose this up front. I have 5 dogs and was going to take them all in for shots, flea meds, etc. Thank God I didn't or it would have cost me $175 just for the "privilege" of coming through the door. I ended up taking my puppy to get spaded, rabies and parvo... almost $700!!! (I had the same thing done to my other females at a Vet in Chanute for less than half of what these rip-off artists charged.) I had to come back a few weeks later for the second parvo dose and it cost another $100+, including another $35 just to walk in... this is when I noticed the fee for the first time. A few months later one of my males started going after the (now) older spayed dog as if she was in heat... so I did some research online (since the Vet was closed when this first happened) and read that the female could still be giving off the scent even though she was spayed. This was odd because the male in question showed no interest in my other 2 females, and my other male showed no interest in the newly spayed girl. So I call this Vet, explained what was going on, and brought the dog in the next day. The old man (guessing he's the actual Vet, don't know), looked at the dog, said she wasn't in heat and he couldn't do anything else for me. I tried asking questiions and he insultingly suggested I look it up on the Internet. Needless to say I took my dog and left, and will NEVER return... and quite frankly, I'm amazed this place is still in business given their ridiculous prices and lousy customer service, I'd give them 0 stars if that was an option. Stay away from these people unless you enjoy paying twice as much as other Vets in the area AND unless you enjoy dealing with rude, condescending country bumpkins!
