From the outside, it looks like a pole barn…read more This single sheet ice arena has a large viewing area with comfy cushion seats under heaters, bathrooms, and a concession stand in the front lobby. The people are nice, the ice is good, and parking is ample. This is not a destination arena, more function than fashion. I give it 4 stars for the friendly people, serving locally made 1919 Root Beer, and the green, gold and white chairs in the stands that the locals told me came from the old Met Center ice arena, home to the MInnesota North Stars some years back, in Bloomington, MN. This might just be something they tell people from out of town like me. Either way, I like the story.
