That might help explain why among my variety of interests, roller skating and bowling are high up the list of things that I like to do. Plus you haven't really lived until you've experience a wood burn (or 2) or participated in the "Promenade" group skate near the end of the session. Back in the Day, my Skateland was located at the Emmett County Fairgrounds, and its distinctive tent was only open part of the year. It was a Family operation, a interesting social scene, and a hot date venue (or so I was told). Roller skating has different feel than being on ice, and in both cases the balancing skills (and being able to do it backwards) stays with you. So do the memories of a simpler time.

Because I was accompanying kids and didn't plan to skate, there was no entry fee. 2) There's an online schedule showing the different event times, and when applicable target ages. We brought my partners kids on a Thursday during the 5p-7:30p slot because 8-10p was 21+ (that day). The 5p slot didnt list ages, but tuns out it was mostly little kids. Additional teens and older people started showing up later, but still seemed younger age focused (with group games like hula hoop). 3) There's a decent number of arcade games for the space. If you don't have quarters, you can use the change machine. While the assortment of games was good, my gripe is that we counted 84 tickets won playing. However their ticket counting machine only accounted for 66. While the experience was okay, I think it's a nice option with a good selection of music, decent sized rink, fair pricing (cant speak for concessions) and a nostalgic feel. The concessions are one of the better setups located on the back side of the rink comfortably tucked within the enclosed heated area with views of rink 1. (While it's by know means perfection it has better hot coco than most other rinks we visit) Fyi: Rink 2 is about 10 degrees cooler than rink 1.

There are TVs in the main lobby (between both rinks and heated) for those time you are waiting for someone. They have skate rentals. The lil girl mother tried to get bold with my mother-in-law. When my husband tried to speak with the people in charge they gave the excuse of the lil girl being autistic and so it was okay. Nothing about this was okay! Keith said to my husband that lady had been coming there for a while and talks to people who work there like that all the time. You can not let people treat other people like that regardless if they come there a lot. I am disappointed especially with the manager saying it's okay for the lil girl or her mom to treat someone like that because they are not from the USA. Like are you serious? The section and seat markings are not clear. How can this be?...1XX and 2XX are not marked. Complete mess!!!! The mismanagement at the entry and poor signage ruin what should be a fun night.
