This was the first time we were going to be away from our fur girl for any extended period of time and had a ton of reservations about what to do with Mabel during our trip. Alicia put all of our worries at ease right away. Prior to our vacation, she encouraged us to bring Mabel over for a tour of the facilities and my wife was shocked with how quickly Mabel warmed up to her. Throughout the entire trip, Alicia would text my wife with a pic or video of our girl and she literally looked like she was living her best dog life!! From swimming excursions to playing with other doggos, Mabel looked very happy and like she was enjoying herself immensely. The extra care and communication with us was just entirely next level and really gave us a worry-free time away. This is an exceptional business and we would trust them time and again if we ever decide to take another extended trip or if we just needed a dog sitter for a day or so. We checked out Kritter Kare's Howliday Inn and a few other places near us on a Tuesday and the dogs had to be boarded starting Wednesday. We choose to use the Howliday Inn and I'm glad we did. The facility is clean, modern and welcoming. The 3 staff members we interacted with with were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There is a large inside common area for the doggy day care and at least 3 outside play yards. I was shown two boarding areas and we were able to keep our 3 dogs together in one area which really seemed to help with any anxiousness they had about the new and unexpected situation. They were super accommodating to our needs of a very early drop off and a very late pick up due to the last-minute out of town travel. They communicated with me after the drop-off, providing updates and even pics on how the dogs were doing. The rates were fair/comparable and communicated up-front . The short story is the dogs were well taken care of and seemed to have a good time. I certainly recommend this business and will use it again if we need to board any or all of our dogs again. BTW - they also offer day sitting/playtime and additional services that can be performed while your dog is boarded such as grooming and nail care. Thanks to Jen and her staff for helping out in a hectic time and we're so happy that everything worked out great for the dogs.

In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

Lotus always had a good time. Now they moved to new location in Arnold which we also moved to St. Charles county and still have to drive him there.
