September 14, 2018…read more Last week my companion and I visited Morningside of Belmont. John Marshall, the Sales Director, was incredible! John was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. We toured three (3) available apartments and had lunch on one occasion. The residents have several options for each meal and we enjoyed our selections. The dining room is very appealing and has numerous windows for the residents to enjoy plenty of sunlight. Several residents introduced themselves to us and expressed their satisfaction with Morningside. Morningside of Belmont is an older facility but it has been renovated and appears to be well maintained. We met numerous staff members and they interacted very well with the residents. We especially like the activities, interaction with Belmont University and the availability of transportation to appointments, shopping, housekeeping, laundry, etc. My companion has chosen Morningside of Belmont for his assisted living needs will be moving soon. Blakeford At Greenhills, Nashville My wife and I moved to…read moreBlakeford in May 2023, just before the West Tower opened in July 2023. At the same time the existing North and South Towers were updated with carpeting, lighting and paint. What a great transformation. All the common areas are new. Amities include three restaurants, indoor pool, a state of the art fitness center (with three full time staff members) and a group fitness studio for fitness classes. There are many club activities; art, bridge, canasta, rummy cube, Mexican train, mahjong, history club plus more. Every Tuesday there is a happy hour with food and live entertainment provided by Blakeford. On Fridays there is a happy hour in the Living Room or on the patio, weather permitting. Then one Sunday a month we have a Social Hour 5p to 6p where new residents mingle and meet current residents. You need to visit Blakeford and take a tour. Make sure you see Vista, the 7th floor party room and outdoor patio - - it has a view no other senior communities have. Mary and I have been asked why we chose Blakeford, and not one of the other senior living communities nearby. Most don't have Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing/Memory Care on one campus. But the final reasons are the residents and staff. The residents and staff members are the best

I do delivery services and I've been here multiple times and I've never had a problem with any of…read morethe workers ever. Today I had to deliver an order and I already knew where the place/room was but they had a lot of items (over 4 cases of soda) so I asked if they had a cart so I didn't need to make multiple trips. The white lady with blonde hair and greenish glasses at the front desk was very very rude and disrespectful towards me. She acted as if I was dumb and when I went to get the groceries from the car she didn't even give me a cart at all because she "couldn't find it" and I ended up taking all the groceries in by hand. I really hope she's not as disrespectful to the citizens living here as she was to me.

Overall not bad, billed as independent living, but they have a few who have to be fed by other…read moreresidents, and the food is straight-up awful! The management seems to be micro managed by the corporate headquarters located in Oregon.
