With that said, Khalif is now my regular barber. Also, I would recommend setting a time with him up because if not, you might have to wait. Remember you can't have all three ever (easy, cheap, fast). For example, if you want it cheap and easy it's not going to be fast. If you want it fast is not going to be cheap or easy. He's a great guy and the staff are great in there too!

Told the Filipino lady exactly what I wanted, - a flat top, and the sides short, and confirmed we were on the same page, and she got out the clipper and cut everything off the top. No chance for a flat top here. Then she kept cutting away just like when new recruits enlist into the military. What a train wreck ! I was mortified. I couldn't do anything but suck it up. Best regular and military fade in town, professional barber with great ambience, the shop has nice character. Parking is limited but they give "10/10" haircut. Ten minute perfect "10" ....no line at all!!!!$ 6 for military $12 for reg & $7 for seniors read more

After we left, I realized that the amount was way too high and we phoned. They said they would credit it back. Almost one week later, that hasn't happened. And finally, the food was meh. I wanted a shop that understood their mixed curly hair, but I also wanted the experience to still be something they enjoyed. Haircuts have always been one of those little things the boys and I do together, and I didn't want it to suddenly feel like a chore. Because our schedule is usually packed, the first time we went to Catrins we took a chance and booked three different barbers at the same time. Somehow we went 3-for-3. Lance, Rebekah and Cass have all been awesome. They take the time to listen to what we want, they're great with my boys, and they've created a shop where everyone feels part of the conversation. A lot of times it turns into one big conversation across the whole shop instead of three separate haircuts, and my kids dig it. It's relaxed, funny, welcoming, and still easy to get in and out without turning a haircut into a two-hour event. Most importantly, they're really good at what they do. They've learned my boys' hair and consistently get their cuts right. I even brought Grandpa in when he was visiting and he walked out completely happy too, so apparently they've got every generation covered. I sent him a couple ideas of what I wanted and he said no problem. He took amazing care of me and when he finally said are you ready to check it out, he turned me around to the mirror and man was I HAPPY with what he did.
