Clay said grace and Joyanne said about everything else. Just a wonderful couple, full of stories and inquisitive about our lives. She wrote a book about there experiences with the local Amish and told stories of how they used to drive them around. This part of Ohio is all gentle rolling hills with plenty of farmland. We were here in the peak fall color viewing time so it was a little slow getting around. I imagine it's always a little slow all year with all the bikes, buggy's, and tourists. Lots to do and see in the area. We were lucky enough to be here during the towns annual garage sale, so we spent some time shopping these. I bet you would be hard pressed to find someone with a bad disposition around here, everyone seemed quite content with there own pace of life they have sit for themselves. If you are lucky enough to book a room here, make sure you tell them I said hello, they are not the type to read things on line.

The kitchen and bathroom have every amenity you could think of, we had brought everything from home but that wasn't even necessary. There is a nice fire area and we loved sitting outside at the picnic table enjoying the peace and quiet. It is so secluded that you literally have zero noise at night...that was definitely different for us since we are used to the constant noise of living in the city! We loved our stay, the hosts are very kind and thought of everything!

The highlight was the sweet and goofy (in a good way) wine hostess. She had a couple facts wrong, but whatever. The gifts, cheeses, and other items were great for traveling folks like us. Most of the wines were too sweet for me, but I'm a California wine snob... I did buy two of their driest wines to share with family.

Well I can't tell you what my 'experience' was like because we didn't end up staying . The photo on…read morethis lady's site isn't even the house where you would stay . It's a photo of a local winery . The photo was the reason why we were attracted to the idea of staying at the " bed and breakfast " . Her B & B was a simple ranch home right in Sugarcreek , nothing special about it . My husband came back out after speaking to the lady and said that the house looked like it hadn't been updated in 30 years , the bedrooms were all right beside each other . It would have felt very awkward staying there . There was nothing quaint , or special about this place unfortunately .
