Even though the cabins are next to each other, we felt like we were the only ones on the property. The jacuzzi tub in the room was a really nice amenity. We enjoyed the fireplace (super easy to turn on and off with a light-switch) and couldn't believe how much heat it put out. The kitchen was stocked with basic cooking essentials and dishes for two. The only downside was the miscommunication with our checkout. We payed for a late checkout, but apparently the office didn't communicate that to housekeeping. The office left me a voicemail saying they didn't have record of the late checkout, I returned the call and confirmed that we did pay extra for that, and then shortly after housekeeping showed up and we had to also tell them that we had a late checkout. Kind of took us out of our getaway bubble, but overall a really nice vacation experience.

Very impressive when you enter I must say. The second floor has a wonderful kitchen and fireplace to cozy up to. The top floor has a reading nook and king sized bed. The house has beautiful wooden beams throughout which gives the place a very'homey' feeling. We ordered the cheese platter and chocolate dipped strawberries upon arrival and were very impressed by both. The cheese platter was filled to the brim with assorted cheeses and sliced meats with a sweet mustard. It came with a bottle of semi sweet wine. The strawberries were enormous and very tasty. We had breakfast delivered versus the grab and go and it was amazing. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend staying here.

We've enjoyed several meals here, including dinner and breakfast. The accommodations are fantastic!! We loved the bed so much we actually purchased the same mattress for our home. The claw foot tube is pretty great to take a dip in as well. All in all Cathy is incredible and the Brick house is most definitely my home away from home. I say "mostly clean" because the shower curtain in the upstairs bath could have used a good scrubbing, or better yet, been replaced altogether. I'm not a fan of shower curtains in lodging type places as it is, but if they are going to use them, I would even replace them after every couple guests or so. They can be purchased very inexpensively. But I prefer a door on the tub or shower, anyway. The sauna also didn't get as hot as I thought it would, unless we were doing something wrong, which is absolutely possible. :) But still was nice to sit in the warmth. Over all it was an awesome place. I will stay there again. Great place to go as a couple or with a group. Great location and great price! Love it!

We stayed at the Village Dreams wing and it faces the main road. It can get noisy with traffic but the sound of the air con acts as white noise to drown it a little. We cannot seem to control the temperature of the air conditioning so it gets very cold (it is summer now) and then we had to turn it off completely. Aside from these minor inconveniences, we were very impressed, it's great for larger families or group getaways. The main tourist shops are just outside your door!

The inn sits on a sixty acor farm in Amish country, with Amish neighbors and their horses right out in the field close to the Inn. They call it a lodge because it is a newly built log home designed into four suites and there is also two cabins on the property that we will try next stay. Very nice and friendly inn keepers,and so fun to talk to. Hard workers with all the up keep they have done with landscaping and the lodge itself. I thank them for it all. They are somewhere in the age of their sixties. Breakfast was homemad and fresh, egg casserole,muffins,apple fritters and much more. We will be back for sure.
