Never offered a different room with an additional charge. Clerk came to the room to see if he could get the fire places working. He called the maintenance man and then I was told the fireplace was for looks only and would be a fire hazard. Only the fake logs lit up when turned on, The breakfast appeared unappetizing, so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Room was clean, jacuzzi worked great. That is about it.

Our main complaint was the people in the room above us had kids that ran up & down and it sounded like a herd of elephants starting at 8:00 a.m.

We also enjoyed the various swings around the property and there was a little trail that ran through the woods that we walked, and the woods were covered in large white Trilliums along the path. Clay said grace and Joyanne said about everything else. Just a wonderful couple, full of stories and inquisitive about our lives. She wrote a book about there experiences with the local Amish and told stories of how they used to drive them around. This part of Ohio is all gentle rolling hills with plenty of farmland. We were here in the peak fall color viewing time so it was a little slow getting around. I imagine it's always a little slow all year with all the bikes, buggy's, and tourists. Lots to do and see in the area. We were lucky enough to be here during the towns annual garage sale, so we spent some time shopping these. I bet you would be hard pressed to find someone with a bad disposition around here, everyone seemed quite content with there own pace of life they have sit for themselves. If you are lucky enough to book a room here, make sure you tell them I said hello, they are not the type to read things on line.
