Never again. His so called "Soft Touch" drive through damaged my vehicle and despite numerous calls and texts he did no have the courtesy to contact me. Boom. 5 Star. Nerd review here.. I've got a 14 passenger van. Not easy finding a spot tall enough. Perfect here. I think the BEST thing about this place tho..is you drive in north/south so you're not in the sun. Makes a major difference when it's 107°. Of course I did this at a slow time when no others were needing a bay, but I was able to wipe it down in the bay instead of water baking on and me baking in the sun trying to wipe dried spots off. Additional - Right next to the Costco that has diesel! Nice. read more

I have been using this car wash for the past 5 years with my dually and have never had any problems. On many occasions there have been employees there when I was using it with my dually and they have never said anything The other day I went in to have my truck washed and one of the yellow pipes that direct you into the car wash was broken. I don't know if it was broken before I pulled in or if it broke as I pulled in, but it appears that it was improperly installed because it looks like there should have been some kind of union inside between the two pipes to hold them together. Due to this my back was able to ride up on the front pipe which allowed my truck to be rubbed by the equipment that cleans the truck. I contacted the person that takes care of the car wash and he told me the owners were out of the country until Thursday. So I called him back on the following Monday to see what the owner was going to do and had to leave a message. I never got a call back. I tried 2 more times and never received a call back. So if you go to this car wash be aware they have poor maintenance, and if their equipment damages your vehicle they will just ignore you. My damage estimate was 2377.00 and my insurance company is going to have to fight to get it from these irresponsible people. Plus I have to pay a $500 deductible and hope my insurance company can get it back for me. I DON'T RECOMMEND ANY ONE GOES TO THIS BUSINESS THEY CANT BE TRUSTED TO DO THE RIGHT THING!!! read more

Would leave zero stars if I could. Does not get your car clean at all. The sides of my car are just as dirty as before I went through the wash. And there's no way to contact anyone for a refund or re-wash. Go somewhere else. My car wasn't even that dirty, just a light layer of dust and the car washed. I have washed my car there a few times. I used a card to start the self wand wash. When I finished the car wash and pushed the button to turn off it off it said that I was charged $3.00. Later when I checked my card charges it showed that I was charged $10.00. I tried to call the number listed on their web page but it just rings a few times and then hangs up. There is no other way listed to contact the owner so no way to get money back on the over charges. This has happened to me twice now. I will never use my card there again. It is a rip off. If you go just use coins otherwise you will probably be charged $10 for a $3 car wash. Also the car wash bays are frequently full of dirt and mud that you have to slosh around in when washing your car. There are much better options out there that are way cheaper than $10! read more

Used to do a great job but a m ago we took our two cars to the touchless where we always went. Paid for the most expensive wash and car and truck both came out spotted and dirty. Contacted the local phone number and got a call center who said I would be getting a call shortly and said they would be giving two free washes and would check the equipment. Never got call nor refunds nor nothing. Thinking they may have fixed the problem we took our SUV through and the same thing happened spotted and dirty. I called again and was told the same, that I would get a call. Went back and paid for yet another run through thinking I would at least have a clean car, nope. Did not touch the dirt spots that were left from the previous wash. I don't recommend wasting your money at this car wash. Go elsewhere unless you enjoy giving money to a company and not getting any service. read more

Update: Hi Braxen... where Apple Maps directed me to was definitely not right.. there was no Costco near that location. It had me in an out of the way industrial area on the very east side of town. We travel a lot. Traveling through St. George and stopping at Costco, we saw this place and decided to try it out. This touchless carwash rocks!!!! The brush type car washes never can fully get the bug splatter off (especially in the heat) our truck. We didn't have to do anything pre or post wash. So awesome! read more

This car wash has both self-wash (~4 bays) and a clean, cheap automatic car wash (2 bays) in the parking lot next to Costco. I used the automatic wash and found that the undercarriage wash is just a squirt of water from the floor, but the rest of the wash process is quite thorough. Dryer fan caused the seal around my front windshield to come out but otherwise, I was pleased with the results. Vacuums and detailed dent repair are available but I didn't use. read more

I do not have an issue with the mechanics of the self-wash, but with the payment. I do not like the fact that you do not get a receipt. True, the total appears in the window of the card reader when you are through...for two whole seconds. If you are struggling with replacing the wand in its holster, forget about seeing your total. Ok, so you get the credit card statement. It used to say Red Dirt, followed by the charge. Now it says EPGS...Google that and see what you come up with. I had to call the credit card CSR to identify the charge. I have used Red Dirt since trying EVERY automatic carwash in town. I find that I do a much better job myself than the "pros". However, I dislike the unidentifiable CC charge on my bill from Red Dirt. read more

It was a really poor wash, seems like I could have had the same results rinsing my little sedan off at home. Conveniently located near Costco and their gas station, this is a great car wash for the value. You can splurge on the Ultra Wash and only pay $8.00! This is one of those "touchless" systems but it has done quite a thorough job on our SUV even when we've come back from the snow and it's beyond filthy. A great choice if you have a luxury vehicle you wouldn't dare go through one of those spinning brush car washes, but you'd be happy with the results and at that price could clean your car often without going broke. read more

It's almost impossible to imagine a way to do this better. This is easily the best coin-op car wash I've ever been to or used. There are a ton of choices to add in and this is the first wand washer that actually has gotten the car clean without any involvement from me with the brush. Mega-convenient. It also has an air dryer inside, the first one I've seen in this kind of car wash. Place is clean and they also offer windshield repair. The owner came out and offered me a free wash after the brushless wash didn't remove the hard water spots on my car. Very friendly service. I hope to find a full service wash with as good of service soon. For self-serve/automatic car wash this is a good choice. read more

I took my car through the automatic car wash today. The car wash sprayed the cleaner on the car ok. But when it went to rinse hardly any clear water came out leaving residue all over the car. I had to go into the self wash to finish rinsing the car off. Not happy. read more

I've lived in St. George for about nine months now and am still having difficulty finding a high quality car wash--particularly one that is touchless. I have used Red Dirt about a dozen times (the last couple were free 'make good' washes) and I will not be back. Despite purchasing the most expensive wash with all the extras, my car simply does not come out clean. As the very name of this wash acknowledges, SG is surrounded by red dirt. Get a little on your car, add a few sprinkles of rain to splotch up the finish, and Red Dirt Car Wash is useless. It will not remove the dirt. I even tried doubling down--TWO washes back-to-back, but it didn't help. In addition to the drive-through, I've tried the do-it-yourself, which isn't any better. Adding to its uselessness is the fact that there is no stand-alone drive-through dryer, so water spots are practically inevitable. The kid who works there is friendly and eager to help. But he can't force inferior machinery to function properly. Lastly, I will add that I am super picky about my car. It isn't as though I wait months between cleanings and then expect a $12 wash to make my car look like new again. I wash my car and detail the interior weekly. I wax it once a year myself, and once per year professionally. The dirt should slide off. There shouldn't be any lingering spots. And the finish should sparkle, because my car is in excellent condition. Unfortunately, Red Dirt Car Wash is not capable of making that happen. read more

Always use this car wash. Always clean always have the soap I hate when I use a car wash that runs out of chemicals or change machines dont work. I have yet to have that problem here. I love using the card reader makes things easier and I don't worry about putting more change in. read more
